It’s been a nice week for golf. I just moved back to Phoenix two weeks ago after being gone for 4 years. I played my first round of golf in 30 years at Cave Creek a couple of days ago.
Nice touch to see the tracer showing on your shots off the tee and fairway. You typically get very nice, high, lofted ball flight to the location your choice. Very "good looking," down right "pretty," ball flight at that.
You should go to the LPGA US Open this year. It's like 20 mins from my house. It'd be awesome to meet you!! I got tickets for the week. It's going to be my first pro golf event I've attended and I'm pumped!!
I enjoyed your 9-holes of play. I'm betting if you hit 20 or so range balls prior to play the first few holes would be swing easier. Good luck to you going forward in life.
When I play a course for the first time I never make a big deal out of a bad score because you just don’t really know where all the problem spots are. Also, the reason I question people with low handicaps based on playing one course all the time. You just know where and where not to miss.
In your defense, that first chip looked like you were playing off dirt. How are you supposed to get the club under the ball on that? They are nice and have you out on the course (which is nice) so you kept it classy as you always do. Nobody does a better job of teaching the game as they play than you.
The best thing is your honesty. Good shots. Bad shots. No mulligans here. It really does feel like we are playing a round with you!

Played the 500 club the day after the qualifier last year. The greens were so fast I 3 chipped a green. 😢
