In big brother 10 when keesha was HOH everyone was trying to beat her in the veto and it was one of those like “stay here for 1 hour and leave when the hour is up without going over” comps - keesha literally quit early because about 20 minutes in big brother had the houseguests dump worms on the players competing for the veto and keesha couldn’t take it - and everyone else didn’t get out until after 1 hour had passed so they all got eliminated and keesha won It was so spectacular- I was rooting for Libra but wtv
forgot that franks blunder allowed jen to win veto thus setting dans plan into place. What would’ve happened if frank was smart is one of the biggest what ifs in bb history. maybe he wins out or maybe brit and shane make it further. crazy!!!

For some reason, a more minor competition fail that comes to my mind is the Hide and Go Veto comp from the final 8B of BB17. That week, Meg and James were on the block together and they wanted either of them to win the veto, but towards the end of the comp, James ends up finding Meg's veto on accident - eliminating his own ally from the competition. lol

Awesome list! If this turns into a part 3, I have two candidates. First is Ashley in the week 2 Veto of BB14. It was a memory game involved running back and forth between two menus and copying the items as well as you could. The person with the least mistakes wins, with how fast you did it only mattering if there's a tie. Ashley was the last to buzz in, which meant she had no reason to rush, and could take all the time she needed to ensure she made no mistakes, and hope everyone else made at least one. Instead she got 13 out of 16 right while everyone else got 16 out of 16. If she got 16 out of 16, it would have been a standard last place finish, but to buzz in last and still not get it right is inexcusable. The second is Donny and Nicole in the F8 Veto of BB16. They were both on the block, it was a "stay/fold" guessing game. Cody already had 2 points which means Nicole and Donny had nothing to lose if they stayed, yet they both folded and let him get his 3rd point. Nicole even had a closer guess than Cody and could have knocked him out, but even if she and Donny were both way off, staying is still the optimal move in that situation.
fun fact i actually got my name from big brother (jayce) my mom was just about to give birth to me when season 5 premiered and loved the name so much she decided to name me that instead just spelled differently to be more original ig
it was also perfect because as i got older this became our show, we’d watch every year while she was still here with us i miss those memories with her so much.
Not a challenge fail, but Enzo continuously cheating while he was on slop was ridiculous. He would stick his head way in the fridge pretending to look for something and would shove a piece of food in his mouth. Production let him get away with it.
Honorable mentions from BBCAN go to Betty in part 2 of the final HOH in BBCAN10 getting a time over 2 hours, and almost everyone from the final 5 HOH in BBCAN11 achieving a time of under 20 seconds in an endurance comp (although that one looked really tough to be fair)
Now that you mention it, I also recall Enzo's performance in the part 2 of the HOH in All Stars being really painful to watch. Enzo must have felt like a damn fool after that, especially with that being his final comp of the season.
It’s funny how several of Big brother’s most impressive winners like Maggie still easily could have lost at the end because the final jury vote was so close. I am still surprised Ivette did not win purely because I figured Janelle, James, Rachel, and Howie would all vote for her, but alas Howie voted for Maggie, which I don’t fault him for, but it is wild how close Maggie was to losing! Same goes for people like Drew and Nicole F! Just wild!
Nicole F getting to the end was the main reason I'm not in the Paul was robbed camp during BB18, because right after Paul won the final HOH, they had one path where they had a pretty much guaranteed win and another one where they would likely lose, and they took the latter path. Assuming Paul would've taken the alternate option and chosen to go to the end with James, the only votes James had as locks were Natalie and Michelle, so it's a very realistic scenario Paul wins there. Compare that to Nicole already having the votes of her two closest allies in Corey and Paulie, Zakiyah, who at that point was just gonna vote however Paulie did, and Natalie, who never in a million years was voting for Paul to win BB, all she needed was one of the swing votes in Da'vonne/Bridgette/James to go her way, and she wins
@@NYChica23 honestly, I don’t really fault Paul for taking Nicole because they probably figured either 1. Nicole upset so many people that she may not get 5 votes which could have certainly happened despite how the votes ultimately played out, and 2. They saw James was pretty likable and worried James had more votes locked up, and it’s not always easy to have a good perception of how the jury will vote! Plus, I can often understand the logic of taking the player they find more deserving of winning and doing what they find to be more honorable, but again, maybe there was more game reasons behind that move than we realize! Plus, that decision is partially what makes me despise Paul’s BB19 game so much. They went from having a decent underdog story their first season to just being an unlikable bully with no regard for decency and who refused to own their game even when it came to making final 2! What a waste…..

Speaking of cheating in Big Brother, I’d like to mention all the times Emmett cheated in comps in Big Brother Canada season 1. He cheated at least twice that I can recall, curing the bees knees HOH and that comp with the tooth brush.

Enzo losing part 2 of BB22’s last HoH was pretty brutal. There wasn’t anything particularly embarrassing about how he lost, but it’s probably the most I’ve felt bad to see someone lose a comp. The guy got third place in a season where his only weakness was his challenge performance, got another chance to win 10 years later, got in shape specifically to account for that one weakness, initially got results winning a challenge every week, only to come up short at the end and stare down the possibility of another 3rd place finish. Also I know you said you wouldn’t pick on Lydia, but she could have spelled “action” with the letters she had and at least get second place
Should I watch bb10? I’m kinda debating it because Memphis is one of my least favorite contestants ever because of Memphis and other contestants making fun of Ian in bb22.

I actually don't think Ivette loses by a landslide in the scenario proposed in the video. Let's assume we're in an alternate timeline where Ivette throws the final HOH, Janelle wins, takes her to the end over Maggie. In that timeline, Ivette doesn't go back on the pact she made with the rest of the Friendship alliance, given that it would've been Janelle who sent Maggie to the jury. So Ivette theoretically would get Beau, because of their outside connection, Maggie, because again, no deals were broken, and Maggie would honor the pact she came up with, Jen and James, who absolutely hated Janelle, and likely April as well

I just started watching BB Canada 1 and was shocked at how often Emmett cheated, given how rare it is in the US version (as you point out here) lol
