These watches with their easy to scratch glass are NOT changeable. They are laser fused into the casing. If you scratch them to the point of not able to buff out, throw away the watch and get a new one! They should bring out new variants of this series; mission to a black hole and mission to Hell.
I'm a Space nut and I want to collect some of these just because of that. Once they hit retail and I can pay at or below MSRP. I really want an Earth. Uranous, Pluto. Jupiter and Neptune but I only got so much cash. 😂 Hopefully they sell these for a few years and I can pick up the odd one here and there. Also if Omega/Swatch was smart they'd do a deal to offer these to every Planitarium and Space/Science Museum in the world to sell in their gift shops. I bet they'd fly off the selves at those locations plus bring in some much needed money to those locations.
I really wanted to get swatches Orange NASA watch they did a while ago but it took a proprietary strap and I got big wrists. So that was a no go. I'm really glad they did not go that route here and I could at least but a nice stretchy Paratrooper strap on one instead. I could put a Nato but once I discovered single piece Paratrooper straps I'll never go back to NATO even though I loved them for years because it used to be my only option with big wrists.
I wanna see a comparison in lume between the Moonwatch and MoonSwatch. Swatch group was very clear in stating it uses the same Super Luminova found in the Moonwatch, so any difference in performance between the models is an easy court win for someone with enough patience and gut. False advertising is a bad beast.
I'm waiting for the Rolex to come out. By the way why buy a plastic Moon watch when Bulova makes a Real Moon watch for not much more than the plastic stuff sold by Swatch.
@@e28forever30 Whoa. 😅 congratulations for calling another man's belongings trash. I hope whatever is making you feel like hating on a fun watch, you can figure out and channel into something more productive and positive for others.
@@MM-bt6uu Thank you reverend. I didn’t say it was trash, I said it will be going to the trash bin. Which isn’t offensive at all, because everything eventually goes to the trash bin, sooner or later. I guess it will be sooner with this one, with the cheap construction. Not my idea of a fun watch, overpaying for cheap materials. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
I’m thinking they never actually planned on or were prepared for a large release. I think they just made that announcement on the fly to try to avoid riotous situations.
@@anthonyvogt6620 they made the announcement when they did based on the timing of the Watches Of Wonders event a few weeks ago. They made the announcement just before the start of the event. Omega was NOT represented at the event, yet the two biggest stories talked about at it were the left handed Rolex GMT, and the MoonSwatch. They could not have gotten that much publicity if they purchased the largest booth at that event.
Ceramic and polyamide. A composite mineral polymer. Essentially hardened nylon. Very similar to materials used in firearms industry, medical industry and robotics industry. Durable, warm, matte finish. I approve of the case material 💯
A very comfortable watch that looks classy given its parent watch lineage. The more I see them the more I admire them. Add a different strap and the ease of switching capability allows a wide and large range of straps only adds to the appeal of this watch.
These are ok but that strap is awful looking and seemingly awful to wear. I wouldn’t pay any more than retail for one of these. I can’t believe they would hold up to any real daily wear.
My interest in these watches is waning…doesn’t look like an online release will be on the cards anytime soon.
I got mine in Geneva, Switzerland 🇨🇭 last week. We were there for 2 weeks. My hubby got his mission to moon. I love it!
Who would have thought Uranus was this pretty up close

I don’t know what has been covered more, the Will Smith slap or the Moonswatch.
Mission to Uranus everyday, all day … heaven 😄
They're gonna launch their rocket to Uranus 🤣

The subdial with 1-10 gives you tenths of a second when you use the chronometer 😺
What is the function of the sub dial on the top right?? 👍
About time you focused on #2
😎👍
Flip the strap. Move the Omega logo on the top side and place the Swatch side on the bottom and see how it feels..
Do you think if you let the chronograph run will it significantly drain the battery?
does the colour leach on other models? I would be much more interested if the case was steel as Swatch does make steel case watches.

great comment! I didn’t think of this
The issue i think is just how thin it is. Thicker lume glows brighter and longer.
There is way more to lume brightness than the powder itself
My classmate and I started dating after she heard me talking about getting the mission to uranus.
Where to find that kind of female classmate?🤣
Nice chronograph. Can’t wait to have one for myself. Any idea when they would be re-issued publicly?
Don't worry, they said they will soon be released publicly. And I have multiple fake bridges to sell 🤣🤣🤣
Compared to something like the Casioak or solar MB6 G-Shock square pricing is not that great for the quality you get IMO
Exactly.
Chicago Red Pilled Podcast 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Thanks 👍👍👍
It looks like it was 3d printed
More helpful information on the Youraniss and the Moon Swatch in general. Thanks, Rob!
The spelling is Uranus. Most people pronounce it Your_anus.

Some shipments to the AD’s here in Canada today… sold out again
Hopefully this will start a trend to try an affordable before you spend big on the original.
Only most of the people that buy the affordable "homages" don't tend to buy the expensive watch they are based upon.
@@frankdux5693
It's something I've done on a few occasions and then the affordable version I use at work.
Anyone realize that this watch can be opened through the crystal. Dials, hands, pushers can all be swapped. It's epic.
An epic piece of cr*p.
Price?
Cheaper than my last mission to uranus
I know where this watch is going.😆

Ticks louder than a Timex?
It's impossible 🤣
Swatch made a mistake, if they had made them available online the first week or 2, they would have had lots of buyers…now…not so much.
I agree, I was so ready to buy one. Now I lost interest.

How are these relevant when Pagani Design can sell you a pd-1701 for 86 bucks, even in this color!
Omega is owned by Swatch and is releasing cheap copies of its own iconic watch. Hopefully it doesnt devalue the brand
