To be honest, I didn’t even know that Josh was considered “controversial” in the Christian space. I just think his videos are funny. 😂 I didn’t realize that some of his content was devoted to calling out certain situations, but I haven’t gone that deep into the content yet. Love the pod and I loved this episode! Thanks for all you do!

This is such a hard topic to navigate. I like that Josh distinguishes between for-profit and non-profit organizations and that Jeanine says it all comes down to the heart. Money is such a relative term. What does rich mean? To us in America, Range Rovers and private jets mean a person is rich, but to someone in a 3rd world country having a 3-bedroom house and two cars is considered rich. Personally, I don't think we can label a person's motives based on what they buy, have, or are paid- pastor or not. I think it comes back to surrender. Jesus wasn't upset that the Rich Young Ruler was rich. His issue was that when He asked the young man to give up all his possessions and sell them to the poor, he wouldn't. He valued his things higher than following the Lord. Pastors and business Christians shouldn't use people to their advantage- again, like Jeanine said, their hearts are about self-possession rather than being rewarded fairly based on their gifts and talents. The Lord has been teaching me that everything we (Christians) do comes back to James 3 (godly wisdom vs selfish ambition) and 1 Corinthians 13 (love). If any Christian's actions aren't from 1 Corinthians 13, then they are probably operating from selfish ambition and not godly wisdom. Spiritual gifts, fruits of the Spirit, and every decision we make as Christians must flow from a place of love (1 Corinthians 13). I think we, as the church, are lazy and scared to point out when other Christians aren't operating from 1 Corinthians 13. Many of us are dependent on milk when we should be more mature in the faith than we are, which is why so many Christian leaders are getting away with scamming people through their selfish ambitions. If we truly leaned on Holy Spirit and his warnings, I think we would be more discerning and wise when it came to seeing people's true motives. Love your podcast and hearts! Keep it up.

29:07 my church as long as I’ve been going there (since 2021) it’s a small church 120 people. Our pastor shows every dime that comes in. Every single year and also where it all went. We helped buy a roof for another local church, a horse for a PTSD youth treatment centre, etc. once it was all broken down i wondered how my pastors family survives. Honestly! ❤

As a Christian I agree with church chad and all his skits. I don’t think other Christian’s know how religious and cringe they are and how self righteous they are coming across most of the time, I used to be this way until I was delivered from the religious spirit so I get it but it’s nice to see someone calling people out.

He is so funny didn’t know who he was since I’m an old lady who refuses to get on TikTok and my life is good without it. Anyways this episode was good and I commend you guys for being honest and respectful in some different opinions. At the end of the day/life our Christian brothers and sisters relationships with each other in Christ are the light to prove Jesus love for us. You guys have so much more in common because of your love for truth in Christ ❤

Personally money makes people funny, and I do believe it’s personal convictions.
You can have nice things, I don’t believe it’s wrong, but to not let those things have you.
I honestly don’t think that people should charge or be paid for speaking at churches 🤯 i mean yea get paid through your brand or books or stuff like that. But being paid to talk at a church… no. But that’s my opinion.
On your traditional Sunday! But I went to a ladies weekend retreat. There was activities and as a speaker the hours that would have been spent going into planning the 6 hour day, they provided lunch and take home bags. It was 60$ a person and the “speaker” did get paid. Was able to sell her books. But on an average Sunday sermon for a hour I agree not paid.

This was a tough episode for me and I LOVE your channel and all the content. Josh is hilarious. The pyramid scheme talk was ... I understand completely that you were just speaking about your experiences and agree that you shouldn't use the gospel to manipulate people into doing something but also don't think that's everyone's experience. I know the term "pyramid scheme" gets thrown around alot and the real definition of that word is just getting head hunter fees but there are actually no goods or services being transferred. If they are a true pyramid scheme they would get shut down as its frowned upon by the trade commission. I am not coming for yall at all would just be careful of putting all companies in a box based on your limited personal experience.

I think when it comes to pricing of your merchendise the people should think of the following like if the person using price skimming penetration pricing for example is an indicator of the person budget too. The more merchendise you order the cheaper it can get, but it is on the supplier. You wanna break even fast and generate profit or to be able to lower the price so you quickly reinvest the money you made? Sadly the majority of the people in Ecommerce got this short thinking to get rich fast, so everybody is seeing a cheaply manufactured overpriced product you are trying to sell them.😊
The reason why anyone else has been back to the moon is because they need equipment made from materials that no longer exist (companies that made them closed) so it’s difficult find something similar that allows going back there.

This episode is missing the Holy Spirit, which is very sad as I can feel the enemy creeping in here. I feel this episode is exposing many insecurities and secret complexities and comparisons here. Making other people question whether or not a nasty video is about them or if they are being mocked is not very nice. That’s horrible! And it’s not comedy when people are being hurt or questioning themselves when they are only trying to spread the word of the gospel. I love girls gone bible as they bring valid and fruitful guests on the podcast.
Mocking, making fun of other Christian’s and not speaking healing words does not feel happy and healthy to me. Be careful of the enemy guys..
