You are lucky man! I am sure this style only works in US and Europe. If you work as a software engineer in China and Hong Kong, you will be forced to work from 9 am 10 pm to catch the insane project deadline.
I did do that for the first three months of lockdown. Then I got cabin fever. Believe me, getting up and out is just necessary to stay focused. My productivity drops to nothing if I don't get up early. Plus you do not want to be the person that says f*** all at the stand up because they are still half comatose. 1hr of coming round is indispensable to me now. I was more likely to hit snooze 3 times when I had to commute just looking at British weather.
Hi Harnoor, I see that you are working on the MacBook and extending screen to the curved monitor. I noticed that both are at different heights with respect to each other. You're constantly changing vison to adjust to that. I would suggest getting a laptop raiser stand, go for a foldable aluminum one, It will increase the air circulation for your MacBook to improve cooling as well as Help maintain same height with respect to your posture and screen height. Which will lessen the fatigue for your neck.
This was actually one of the most in depth Day in the Lifes ive seen for a SWE!! Most of the time for the actual SWE part they just blur a screen and say "i do some coding and a scrum meeting" and suddenly its 6PM 😂

i don't know really but i'm sure you won't like this work more than 1 year , you have no fresh eaṭing routine ,all are just from fridge , all unhealthy, also no personal meetings with office friends , totally alone , no one at home , literally i can't live his life a single week. what's he showing the joy and happiness in video is all about youtube things .ohh. I never wants to go in foreign ,i'm so surprised why peoples are so excited to go there, no friends , no relatives, no family, are there.
You don’t have to work remote
