Regardless of everyone is saying I think the guy is adorable!!!! Hearing him worship with all his heart makes me so happy. If you want another view of skillet then go to another video.
Same here skillet has been my life since 2006 or 2009 I’m not sure which year but anyways i am so so crazily addicted to skillet to the band members and their music and I always love them for who they truly are no matter what
At 12:52 I'm the one John pointed at and gave a high five to. I had an awesome time seeing my hero's love once again. I also got a hand grab from Jen as well.
The guy singing in the background has so much vocal skill. He should have just recorded himself singing the songs so we could get the full experience without Skillet getting in the way.
I just started listening to Skillet about one hour ago. Various songs and videos. I totally agree that the guy singing in the crowd is better. He should definitely takeover singing for the band!
Also, the singer now could always sing backup. They would be so much more interesting. And bring in that sound of a fan who became the lead singer. It would be so good.
I was there for that and it was intense as Frick! me and my friend along with my youth group were there jumping up and down yelling at the top of our lungs cause this was the first time we had seen skillet live. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AWESOME
We were at the Family Arena in St.charles, Missouri last Sunday night. It was AWESOME. We were second from the front on the right side, stage left. Me and my friend got our pictures taken with Skillet before the concert.
They are absolutely awesome! Seen them for the first time this year! But Man I’m so bummed that winter jam is over. Made it to three shows this year! This years lineup was amazing! Now we gotta wait for a dominion tour to be announced 😎😎😎
If you love to sing, sing with your whole heart and ignore the haters because nobody controls you. I like hearing other people sing and if it doesn't sound good then don't be rude about it. Everyone else is screaming singing and I would be singing screaming too so let's stop being rude.
i was there friday night i also got backstage passes and saw john cooper that night was one hell of a night to remember i loved it skillet was fucking lit as always it was so loud too omg the march and everything was great this year the pink winter jam hats and stuff were cool i got me skillets guitar pick signed also
While I'm no longer a believer I have some fond memories of seeing them at the first Winter Jam on a beach in FL 25ish years ago. I'd like to see them return to the sound from that debut album if only for a song or two. From what I can tell they don't even play those songs anymore. Such a shame. I enjoy some of the newer music but I can, Gasoline, and Beautiful Robe were lots of fun!
The guy singing too the songs should be the lead singer, with the guy singing for the band, he should sing backup, and still be the frontman. It would be so much better with the fan of the band, becoming the lead singer. The songs would be so much better.
If I had to guess it was because there was a bunch of extra stuff put into the show that took up some of their stage time and they had a certain amount of time to play. John speaking, surviving the game has a longer intro and a metal outro, anchor has a solo in the middle of the song. One thing I noticed was In this video they played two solos in anchor, one in the middle and one at the end of the song, but the three times I seen them this year they cut out the ending anchor solo. I’d say it’s all to do with the amount of time they are given to play on stage.
We are in a spiritual war right now. John is not waging a war because we are already in it. If we as Christians stand up for what is right for Christ then it is only damaging to satan.
Incorrect. Ephesians 6:12 -- For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. There are christians who think they are still in right standing with Him, but deny the infallible inerrancy of scripture. Jesus IS the Word mad flesh. John Cooper is 100% correct in everything he said, unless your a deconstructionist who wants to live life relative to "your truth" and not God's objective truth.
Actually the scriptures are inspired but not inerrant or infaillible - That was not a concept embraced by the early church fathers - why? Because not even the gospels were included in scripture until the 4th century. And the concept is only embraced in the 19th & 20th centuries - being etched in stone as doctrine until only 1978 so it is a newer concept to call it inerrant or infaillible. Now there is one of whom the scriptures speak who does claim to be The Word & of whom it is said is all of that - But a leather bound inspired sacred text are the words concerning THE WORD / person (if you will) but Jesus is not a bible made flesh (a sacred text compiled up to 400 years after the fact). And the war he spoke of was against individuals - and furthermore - not all deconstruction is the same nor should everyone who has experienced any reshaping of core beliefs be lumped into the same category. If what scripture says is true of God (depending on the scriptures you look at) If God exists - surely he loves & is married to the deconstructionist And he knows them so intimately & loves them so deeply. If scripture is true, not one will be lost & no amount of unfaithfulness cancels His goodness or faithfulness. There is so much misunderstanding surrounding this subject
Deconstruction is an issue and has to be countered, I dont see how anyone can argue with that sentiment and not be underhandedly supporting deconstruction.
Regardless of everyone is saying I think the guy is adorable!!!! Hearing him worship with all his heart makes me so happy. If you want another view of skillet then go to another video.
I love how John says it- its all true what he says
Really appreciate it!

The guy singing in the background has so much vocal skill. He should have just recorded himself singing the songs so we could get the full experience without Skillet getting in the way.

Sweet!
I don't see how it was over 50 mins here when they played the exact same songs at my show and was only around 34 mins.
He did alot of talking to the crowd too not just the songs 🙂
34 minutes doesn't include talking to the crowd and sharing there message he wants to send.
I WAS THERE!!😀😀😀😀😎😎😎☠☠☠☠☠😝😝😝💥💥🤘🏼🤘🏼 How bout y'all😀😀😃😃😎😎
The guy in the background kind of ruined the whole video

The guy singing behind the camera ruined it at the beginning
powerful camera video, bad microhpone... i think rhode microphone is special for live concerts
As much as I would like to use a Rhode mic, they are prohibited at most venues.
So true
SET LIST please?
1. Feel invincible 2. Surviving the game 3. Legendary 4. Awake and alive 5. Anchor 6.dominion 7.hero 8. monster 9. The resistance

Full set list is also in the description as well.
The guy singing too the songs should be the lead singer, with the guy singing for the band, he should sing backup, and still be the frontman. It would be so much better with the fan of the band, becoming the lead singer. The songs would be so much better.
gonna see them at Hellfest this year i fucking can't wait !!
Did they play last/ at the end of the event?
Yeah, they are the last artist of the night.
Abby Robertson
This video would have been better if he wasn’t singing tho but since skillet wants everyone to sing the I get it
anyone else know why they didn't play the entirety of surviving the game and legendary? They cut off a bit.
If I had to guess it was because there was a bunch of extra stuff put into the show that took up some of their stage time and they had a certain amount of time to play. Also, the guy singing in the background only has to learn the basics, about singing thru a microphone, and he will sound great!
Yo bro I was there. I grabbed a seat close to the front. I was like right behind you. You can see proof on my channel.

The guy screaming ruined this video.
True
Just started the video.
Lord I pray the woman does not sing the whole time.
Lol she doesn’t know half of the words to the songs she just hums with her mouth open.
Which woman?
Who ever is screaming, sounds like a dead fish
😂
Bro that lady ruined the whole video. 😑😑
Who?😊
Since you are filming the show. we, as viewers, want to hear John sing, not you.
Stop screaming!
John Coopers comments about deconstruction & his views of what it is & his rhetoric of waging war is unchristlike & is damaging
I was there it was awesome
