      @SignedEmma  Месяц назад

      Hi, My best advice to get counseling about the courses needed to get into the program. They should be able to tell you what classes are needed (often times you have to take pre requisites first before getting into the program). If you're able to pass and those pre requisites then you should be fine for nursing school. Hope this helps!

    • @SignedEmma

      The clinical hours differed a lot, but in the beginning of the program we typically had clincals once weekly and they were 8hr shifts. Then second semester if my memory is correct, we had clinicals twice weekly, each 8hrs as well. Every program is different, honestly.

I'd definitely encourage you to do some job searches in your area to find out. I know LPNs who have worked med surge, ER, Cardiac ICU. Haven't meant one who's worked NICU before.
