Nice, this sounds much better than the Muzak releases! Much of this disk was commissioned through Starborne - the Chacksfield tracks are on YT through Starborne/SRP.
Maybe Murray was only the arranger and for some reason they credited him instead of the actual orchestra. As far as I know, Norrie Paramor was the conductor of the Midland Radio Orchestra, but did he write their arrangements as well?
they have a two minute silence, then it starts back at 1, contrary to what they advertised, there’s roughly 13 minutes of music, consisting of 4-6 tunes but was normally only 5. after the fifth it would reach the climax and start over. Zakemplex has plenty of videos demonstrating how this works if you’re interested to see it in action 👍 ruclips.net/video/QJ5b9YivJoY/видео.htmlsi=PeC8LbAYX3oYlocI

i never knew about his record label, interesting 🤔
Thank you!!
That opening track is softer than a Brougham bench seat, enveloping listeners in '70s luxury.
🙌🙌thank you legend
you are most welcome 👍 i’m glad you enjoy this
Thank you, for sharing this wonderful music.
I had this…..
Interestingly, whilst "Song Sung Blue" is actually being performed by the Midland Radio Orchestra, it is credited to Pete Murray.
i am familiar with the Midland Radio Orch, as they were credited on muzak’s next release… why they didn’t credit them here is beyond me…🤔

@@PneumatinisPlaktukas15 Norrie did write some arrangements for the MRO, but most of the Muzak Recordings by the MRO were arranged by Nick Ingman.
i LOVE IT !!!🎵🎵
so the Muzak Stimulus Chart goes to 6, then what? back to 1, inquiring minds want to know
