Despite all her indoor top times, including two world records I think she will further improve during coming outdoor season. She is still in her built up towards the Olympics in August. That is the time and place to step out of my comfort zone, she said recently. Paris is also the meant to be place to complete her transition from 15 to 14 steps between the first seven hurdles: a major learning trajectory that started one and a half year ago. She hopes to compete with Sidney in Paris, because “racing against the best competitors will make me better as well. No use to even run if I would think I couldn’t defeat her. But on the other hand I am happy to become second if I have given my utmost. And I always will do the hurdles, even if that means I will stay second my whole career.”
Now that is a real champ in my book, regardless her results.

"Normal" athletes who run a lot and get tested (especially if they win!) every race have no possibility to be on PED's because they will be caught by the modern very sensitive measuring methods. To evade those you would need very elaborate scheme's like the Eastern European State-doped Eastern Block athletes or like the Russians had, with holes in the wall to pass urine samples through. etc. However normal simple athletes from small law abiding European countries don't have the means to organize such things.

It’s because of the 200m shorter track than outdoors, leading to two more and sharper curves, that bring centrifugal forces into stake. They slow down the athletes, spending energy in keeping balance. Velocity loss about 2 to 4 percent compared to outdoors in good weather conditions. Sydney’s pb of 48.74 was clocked in excellent weather conditions on her (fast) Eugene home track.
