- So excited to finally share my entire Alocasia collection.
For the longest time I stayed away from any and all alocasias in fear I wouldn’t be able to grow them well (and spider mites), but once I got my first once it was a deep dive into many more.
I’ve been successfully growing alocasias for 1.5 years now and the more I see and learn about the more I want.
Over the last 1.5 years I’ve managed to collect 18 varieties ranging from common, rare and unicorns.
I really love this plant genus and can’t wait to collect more.
What about you, alocasia lover or hard pass?

You have a beautiful collection! I only started my alocasia collection early last year and also struggled until I discovered pon. Now they are all thriving and slowly upsizing. Watching your vids have helped me a lot. Thank you!!!!
Pin is magic for alocasias🪄 thank you so much for watching!!
What is pon? Thank you 😊
A great collection. I would say almost all of them need a drink of water. Lots of leaning over stems and foliage
Your maharani leaves are getting too much light I think. Less light and the leaves should makes the leaves stand back up.
I think so too :)
7:50 so do i cut my blooms or not im confused tbh
Great video! Where did you buy the Alocasia Longiloba Purple Prince? She is STUNNING! ❤
Also, where did you buy the Alocasia Lightening from, as well?❤
I agree with you about chopping off blooms, my jacklyne lost all but one leaf. It takes so much energy away from the plant. And I’d rather propagate by corms.
I do not cut off blooms and mine didn't loose a single leaf. Tandurusa/Sulawesi/Jacklyns like their nutrients. Like seriously, they need fertilized powerfully 24/7.
I would like to know where you got your watsoniana lightning, And your purple prince please?
Your collection is beautiful. I only have the polly. I had one plant that I had no clue what I was doing. It started to die so I decided to throw it out. I heard someone on RUclips talk about corms, so I checked and found 11 of them. All but 1 continues to live. They began their journey in moss, then stratum, and I just planted them in pon. They struggled at first, but I moved them into my screened in porch and they all seem to be doing OK. A few got spider mites which I let go to long. New leaves and more corms. I can't seem to find anyone who wants my babies. Oh well, my porch looks great with them hanging out. Love your videos.
This is the magic of alocasias, the corms, it’s like they come with insurance. I love the vision of a porch filled with pollys ☺️
I hope one day you decide to sell the corms or babies of the longiboba purple prince 😭 I would DIE to get one of them!!!! I can’t find any listing of it );
Hello thanks for this video i loved it. I have a question the about the alocasia longiloba purple. I have ordered mine and even tho it was sold to me as a longiloba purple I believe is silver. Ok my question is when u got yours were the leaves mature already and purple? I think and hope when they are juvie leaves they are silver/grey. I'm not sure can u please help me out thanks in advance 🙏
May I ask how much light you give the pink black velvet ? How many lux or foot candles ?
💚🌱💚🌱💚
alocasia are my favorite right now!
They’re so stunning!
pourquoi je n'arrive pas a obtenir la traduction de vos videos en francais excellent travail!
Wonderful collection ❤
Love all plants💚🌿
Where did you get the Alocasia purple prince?
I really enjoyed this video, I am so into my alocasias this summer. I sprouted 27 new ones from corms in the spring and it hooked me on them. 😄
I put them all in pon. I hope to pick up at least one at plant fest next month!
Ahh sprouting corns is so rewarding! Alocasias are truly special
thank you for posting!! it means a lot!❤️
Thank you for watching!
Thoses plants are simply stunning! Plus everything (even the plants) look immaculate and intense.
I wouldn't be in a desperate hurry to repot the ones growing into the reservoir, they will do fine - probably give them another month or two. Nice collection though
I’ve just recently heard this too, to not cut the inflos, let it go through the hormonal change. I’m not a fan of the big hole it leaves behind either, I’m getting so many blooms right now when I wanted more leaves 😂
I remove inflos as soon as I see them if I'm not going to pollinate. I find inflos take all the nutrients that would otherwise go to foliage.
💚💚💚
What a beautiful collection Claudia! I have 2 😂. I have the Alocasia Jacklyn and a green one that I got in a trade. It’s just working on a 2nd leaf and it’s all green so I have no idea what kind it is 🤔. They are beautiful for sure!!
You’re likely to have several more soon ☺️
Alocasias are one of my favorite too. I hope to get some variegated ones one day. There are a few I struggle with but very easy to grow and I love finding corms!
Corms are such a special things about these 😊
Hi. I love your videos. Please make video of your fertilizer mix.
Thank you so much. Will do!!
Nice collection but none of those are unicorn anymore
