San Juan Chamula Market and Town | Chiapas | Mexico | 4K

Situated in the highlands of Chiapas, the town of San Juan Chamula is home to the indigenous Tzotzil Maya people. This town is especially unique and has an autonomous status within Mexico, which means no outside police or military are allowed in the village. They have their own police force. Another unique feature of this town is that 99% of the population here speaks an indigenous language.
