This was probably THE most helpful video about roof replacement I've ever seen! I'm a Realtor and I needed a quick education on roofing and this was great! Thanks guys. I feel a little smarter about roofing now for my buyer clients. :-)

I got a new roof about a year ago. I was wondering what are signs of cheap shingling. A month or so ago I got out the ladder and was checking out my guttering and noticed what I guess was a lot of runoff from the new shingling. I had to scoop out a lot of it. I guess I'm asking if you have a lot of this stuff in your guttering, was/is that a sign of cheap shingling? I just picked what I thought was a good color. Or, is this normal? I know we got a new roof 32-33 years ago but wasn't that involved with it. Last year was the first time I bought a new roof. I kinda wonder would it had been better to get a metal room but it was about $2,000 more. I also wondered would it be more noisy during rain.

The tree can be trimmed back, the pipe vent can be sealed, rustoleum would take care of the small rust spot on the fan cover, and a 5 gallon bucket of roof patch would secure every shingle on that easy pitched roof. I saw no broken shingles and a dedicated owner would fix that roof for almost nothing. There were no reported leaks.

9 year old house and I'm already getting some curling on the shingles. Thanks Ryan Homes for shitty contractor grade roofing.

My insurance said that they would only cover the roof if an act of nature happened. Zeta better come through.
