hey, in a project i have used document-scanner to capture docs, it saves the image in Picture folder. after image being saved, if i try to access image to convert it to Base64 then i get error as File Not found.i dont understand whats the reason.

Can capacitor plugins and Cordova plugins be used in a project. I'm working on a project but I'm using capacitor for the project. I need to be able to capture videos and images. I've been able to implement image capture but not video, I've not seen any plugin for that. Thank you.

Hi simon, You have only shown how to show a newly created video or audio or an image on the app. But you haven't show how to show already existing video files which are already there in Mobile device memory card as well as in internal memory. I also looked on your other videos but there also same situation 😃🙏 Awaiting your response.. Regards.
@@galaxies_dev thanks a ton for the prompt response. Actually I am also working on the same issue that I mentioned but I could only read the internal memory storage but not the memory card storage. And have also achieved to show the video files in a folder structure that means only those folder will be displayed who has video inside it.. Again thanks a lot for all your videos... In many of my projects your videos acts as an ultimate solution to most of my most complicated programming queries then may it be a http interceptor or authorization or images upload and many more your videos are the ultimate as compared to other developers 😀 Looking forward for the aforementioned video solution 😀😀🙏👍. However I'm having an annoying error when using this.file.dataDirectory: ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise): TypeError: Function expected TypeError: Function expected at dataDirectory.get (localhost:8101/build/vendor.js:135868:28) I don't understand, the code is the same as yours, just copy-pasted it. I don't know why it thinks I am calling a function "get"... dataDirectory is just a string. It fails here: this.plt.ready().then(() => { let path = this.file.dataDirectory; // throws error this.file.checkDir(path, MEDIA_FOLDER_NAME).then(...) // not called after error ... }
I am having a hard time with this.file.copyTo(copy_from_path, name, copy_to_path, new_name) both of the paths start with : "file:///" all I get is "not_found_err" code = 1 I also tried using androidPermissions package to give permission of READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE but to no avail I am getting the same error. Is it possible to add more buttons into the video record feature like Tiktok or snapchat or insta reels?
You would have to use a different plugin like CameraPreview instead, the default Camera only shows the standard controls and you can't change that.

Hmm I think it's an OS setting as I can't find a property for that in here: github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-camera#cameracameraoptions--object

No not that I am aware of, since you also can't really hook into the native device call feature!

I think you need to install an additional audio recorder app for Android since there's not build in function!

If it's not showing up you might have to use the Angular sanitizer to sanitize the url before using it as the src for your img tag!

That usually means your Cordova plugin wasn't installed correctly, try adding it adding or remove/add the platform!
