You are not the only one to feel it. Something about her , the way she connects, her lyrics, her voice and her soul is so different from us all. A once in a life time artist.

That entire concert she gave in the forest is quite an experience! Aurora keeps creating such moments -- always something new and beautiful on the horizon.

One thing that makes it even more special is that the forest that they're in is Auroras childhood place where she always was when she could, on her own. Nature girl.

I have see so many "reactors" listen to this song, and there are all types; from the very rigid religious persons that hear things that doesn't conform with whar they are taught to people who does not take in the meaning at all. But the large majority is profoundly touched by it, as you are. The final words "This is the breath, we are the breath" can be heard and digested so many times. I loved your reaction

Aurora is magic! I am 54 years old, I am a fan of Elvis, Queen, Madonna, Chris De Burgh, Springsteen, and others, but nothing can compare to my love for Aurora's art. I have seen her live 5 times, and it feels like she is performing for her friends and family. She tells storys, sometimes forget the point, jokes in one minute and very serious the next. And then she blows us away with her fantastic performances.
There is many moments that are fantastic from the performances, but the most special moment was in Arendal, it was my second, and my son and wife first concert. She was fantastic, but I remember especially a moment in The Seed, her vocal was non human, I could not believe it, and I looked at my wife and at the exact same moment she looked at me, and we both like said "how is this possible...?".
Cant wait to see her live again.... 😊

Thanks for your reaction. Her parents were at the concert ( 6:33 man is her dad) and this was held in the forest she grew up in behind her parents. The entire Haik documentary is worth a watch.

Hello, Ancient One. You are definitely not the only one to feel something special about her. That was haunting in a most beautiful and fragile way. There is a sense of shared consciousness in that forest and that audience. Thank you.

This is from the HAIK documentary. The concert is at the end. It's a wonderful gift to Aurora and to her very closest fans. This is probably the best known video of Infections of a Different Kind. It's so good.

From an interview with indie.vidualist : "I was at an airport, it was late, I was alone and my plane was the last one to leave. It was the year before I wrote the song, so 2016, which was a hard year for me because it was quite busy and I was sick all the time - I was in the hospital many many times. So yeah, at the airport… I was on my way home again, I felt a bit out of place, out of my own body, and then I looked at this family.
I saw two very tired parents, and then this little girl - she was maybe 3 years old - and she seemed to give them so much joy, even though they were very tired. And she gave me a lot of joy. And then I saw an old couple, leaning over to look at the little girl who was smiling back at them. She seemed to interact with almost everyone at the gate, and make everyone happy. Without even knowing it. And I loved the way happiness and love can be so… simple? Don't underestimate the power of a child. It was just very magical to see how much it affected everyone and everything.
If I was to choose a religion, I would love it if god would be something that you can touch. Something like a little girl, on this earth, and not something that is far away or judges from above, you know?"

If you have the time, I highly recommend reacting to the whole HAIK documentary, such a wonderful experience😍
HAIK (pronounced hike and means hitchhike) is a norwegian tv show where they celebrate norwegian artists.
It’s a day with surprises for Aurora, the only thing she knows is that she’s having a concert at the end of the journey, but she doesn’t know it’s gonna be in the forest she spent a lot of time in growing up😍
If you choose to do this, I recommend the version on Fabrice Channel, it has the most accurate subtitles👍

It seems you're the kind of person who let Aurora's music in.
    Totally receptive to her music.
Good for you. Let her music in. That's all she wants.
You might want to watch the whole Haik documentary + the concert.
You'll certainly love it. LOVE it.

Yeah I was welling up, too! 😅 I was made aware of this Earth Angel by a friend five years ago, but I had not heard this song before either. Amazing and beautiful as ever! 😍 She also usually sounds even better live than on the studio recordings, and all the members in her band over the years have been talented, too 😊
I'm hoping to be able to experience her in concert in person eventually; She'd made it as far as Australia last year but sadly did not pop over to NZ to spread her wonderful vibes also here 😭
By the way, I suspect she's channelling her Higher Self or a similarly supreme being through her singing and piano-playing. Otherwise her pitch wouldn't be this great either 😉
And I am glad you changed "religious" to "sacred" in the end! 😅 Way more apt, I reckon! 😉
And on a different subject: You seem a good Soul yourself, and I always appreciate it when people have good manners and use words like "please" and "thank you" and "I apologise" like you do, and it definitely also encouraged me with subscribing to your channel
    😊👍☀️🎵
And lastly, I heard you mention going to Music School, in the latest Rush video, and I'm intrigued now! 😁

What a joy to see and hear you two together :) I think you would enjoy some snippets of Aurora interviews, or better, the short documentary Nothing is Eternal (10 minutes) or better Into the Light (5 minutes), when you have time someday. Take care. You are loved. Oh, and add the studio version of this song to your playlist :)

Aurora/Eos is a Light and Dawn Goddess.
Aurora is the Roman goddess of dawn. She is part of the second generation of immortals who are gods and goddesses of nature. Aurora is the first to wake each morning, and her job is to streak across the sky in a chariot of light announcing the coming of the Sun god. She is a goddess of nature, but stands over the green foliage of youthful sprouts. Known also as a goddess of Love and Lust. Saffron is her color, being the color of the rising sun.
Aurora is also knowledgable of this, I'm sure. Just watch her latest concert backdrops. Fully engaged. Welcome to the Aurora rabbit hole.

They should teach this song in music lessons in every school, the lyrics and singing technique are out of category, just like through the eyes and lucky in Trondheim Nidarosdomen, Murder song and Runaway Nobel prize concert, A soul with no king Vevo version and so on, who is Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa Lorde and Mylene Farmer (I'm a big fan of both) and so on, when you hear Aurora. this is to me the best song of all time; I am 50 now and indeed nothing come close to this wonderful angel

If no one has mentioned it yet, the concert can be seen in the "HAIK" documentary about and with Aurora at the end of it. Highly recommended. The documentary gives you a small and good impression of Aurora and what shaped her. This is a bit older but still worth seeing. A must for Aurora fans. But look for the newer version as it has more detailed subtitles. (I think you'll find the better one on Fabrice's channel.) Nice reaction and thanks for coming back to Aurora, I thought you'd forgotten her.
