My first (and only, so far) trip to Vegas was this past March for my 60th birthday. We stayed at the Mirage and we were upgraded to a suite (top floor), because the man checking us in accidentally gave away a surprise. My husband planned the trip for the 2 of us to celebrate my milestone, but my son also planned for all of my kids to join us! IT WAS AWESOME! I want to go back so bad!!!

One of my best memories of the Mirage is when Las Vegas had a tennis tournament and the players stayed there. It was so much fun in the casino when they would be playing. EJ you brought up that great memory when you mentioned the Bryan brothers because they were there.

Came from Scotland and spent our honeymoon at the Mirage, the Beatles show was incredible and the cocktail bar out the front was a great place to relax with a drink. Sad to hear it’s closing.

I was fortunate enough to have seen Sigfreid and Roy back in 92'. It was THE most amazing show I have ever seen. General admission tickets were $100, but worth every penny My parents and I stayed in Vegas for a week and we would eat breakfast everyday at the Denny's right across the street from the Mirage and we would watch the Dancing Fountains during the day and watch the volcano eruption, every night ! Vegas wasn't quite as family oriented back then, but, luckily I had just turned 21, the year before. I have been dying to get back, since then. Awesome hit on Autumn Moon, by the way! Just for information. I painted all of the Sigfreid and Roy signs along with all the tigers and other signs for the opening of the Mirage many years ago in 1989. I had to climb up inside the big 50’x50’ sign to measure it. The biggest problem was I have acrophobia. BTW nice first spin Johnson Vegas Matt.
