6:39 That is Waux Ub-kan talking to us in our mind. Every time you see that golden dialogue pop-up it is WUK talking to the traveler. He is guiding us to both pieces of the entrity and to places linked to dragonkind and to himself. I don't think little buddy is the chosen of dragons. We, as the traveller, are. Little buddy is just an aspirant, a possible next reincarnation of the Pyro Sovereign Xiuhcoatl. There have been many dragons like little buddy marked with the Fire Lord's Blessing, but none have turned into the next Pyro Dragon Sovereign for various reasons. Some are killed before they reach maturity by people of Natlan, others when they reach maturity go mad and become very agressive (the qucosaur we can fight ever since 5.0 for ascension mats) and attack humans on sight, etc. Also, when WUK was talking to our Little Buddy, that was happening in the past. The very same mural he is standing in front of, is destroyed in current day. That means that WUK had Little Buddy with him, and most likely sealed him for us to find at the very beginning of Natlan. He was also speaking to us (the traveller), not to little buddy, when talking in front of the mural. WUK seems to know the future to a certain extent and is guiding us to all the places that have significance to dragonkind in Natlan, furthering the idea that we are the Chosen of Dragons, not little buddy. He is now waiting for us up at the crown of the vulcano that will be released in the future... probably 5.5 or 5.6?

@@acostureirinha Waxaklahun Ubah Kan was a 100% purebred dragon (as far as we know) and a contemporary of Pyro Sovereign Xiuhcoatl who he stole Phlogiston from, and gave it to humans. Och-kan was a hybrid, he had a both dragon body and a human soul inside of him. We currently do not know who the mother was or if there even was a mother at all. Och-kan could have been a testtube baby made by magic or alchemy, or maybe WUK changed into human form and impregnated a human woman, or maybe even an angel/seelie. In the quest it is explained that WUK thought that the dragons lost the war against Celestia because their thinking was inflexible. Dragons only respected power, and would always submit & follow the strongest of their kind. Humans on the other hand were flexible, could hope & dream of a brighter future and had the courage to fight, even if they knew they'd die. So WUK set out to create a dragon/human hybrid to ensure the survival of the dragon species. That's how Och-kan was born. WUK wanted Och-kan to kill the Pyro Sovereign Xiuhcoatl and become the next Pyro Dragon Sovereign, but Xbalanque did it instead (with Och-kan's help, no less) During the time of Pyro Dragon Sovereign Xiuhcoatl’s reign, humans were treated like livestock, and used as ritual sacrifices and labor slaves. Since WUK left Och-kan in the hands of a human tribe where he grew up as a slave to real dragons and met Xbalanque and the other heroes of that time (Yupanqui, Lianca, and the twin siblings Ahpub and Ixquieh) and they went on to overthrow the dragons and Xbalanque slew Xiuhcoatl himself. After Xbalanque obtained the Pyro Authority and set up the rules for Natlan (Ode of Ressurection, and the Pilgrimage) he went into the Sacred Flame. Och-kan took over the role of Ruler of Natlan in Xbalanque’s stead. Och-kan REALLY hated the dragon part of himself and idolized Xbalanque, going so far as to think only Xbalanque was a True God and could truly defeat the dragons, celestia & the abyss once and for all. Och-kan’s love for humans and humanity (and above all, Xbalanque) drove him to commit many, many atrocities after he took over as the ruler of Ochkanatlan. He imprisoned the female dragon (Ixlel) in the depths and forced her to operate the ancient dragon mechanicsms on top of which Ochkanatlan was built. He forbade the humans of Natlan from worshipping The Night Kingdom & Yohualtecuhtin (who was a Seelie) and began a witchhunt against everything dragon-related. This went against the teachings of Xbalanque himself who preached coexistence of Dragons/Seelie/Humans. Not to mention sentencing all those humans to their deaths after they worked to build Ochkanatlan & excavate the dragon city underground). In 5.2 we learned that Waxaklahun Ubah Kan came to visit Och-kan, his son, to retrieve the Golden Entreaty, as WUK was disappointed with Och-kan’s decisions and no longer saw any future for him as the leader of Natlan. Och-kan told WUK he hid the Entreaty and wouldn’t give it back to him. WUK left empty-handed saying he’d come back only once more, when Och-kan was dead to reclaim his soul as he was part of a very important experiment. Soon after a scarlet-eyed youth appeared, gathered together a party of heroes (Sakkuk, the twins Atawallpa & Waskar, Manqu the craftsman and Yupanqui again) and stormed Och-kan’s Cinder City. Och-kan separated his mind from his body. His mind became Cocouik and entered the big Core of Chu’ulel to operate it, and his body was struck down (but not killed!) by the Scarlet-eyed youth into the depths below Ochkanatlan, where the abyss found it & corrupted it. The Scarlet-Eyed Youth became Natlan’s Second Pyro Archon and life went on… the story of Ochkanatlan picks up again, 10 years after Mavuika entered the Sacred Flame, just like Xbalanque did in the past. Bona’s father (Talka) and his friends (Copan, Titu, Legba, Liriwu) entered Ochkanatlan in hopes of finding a rumoured artifact that could once and for all drive away the Abyss from Natlan. An artifact like that never existed in the first place, and it was Waxaklahun Ubah Kan who spread rumors about it to the human tribes in hopes they’d venture into Ochkanatlan and most likely defeat Och-kan’s body and take his soul/mind out of the Core of Chu’ulel. Talka and his friends died, all except Liriwu presumably. Liriwu was also the person who provided Talka & co with blueprints to the Cinder City, much like Manqu did to the Scarlet-eyed youth’s party in the past… but Talka did succeed in freeing Cocouik from the core… Afterwards Bona entered Ochkanatlan in hopes of finding out what happened to her father, and came across Cocouik, but as Cocouik/Och-kan said “they didn’t manage to save her”. I assume Cocouik somehow preserved a part of her soul and that’s how we meet them, in the present. A girl from ~470 years in the past, and the untainted mind of Och-kan. As for Waxaklahun Ubah Kan - he gives off the impression of a cold, uncaring person. A scientist/alchemist at his core, who cares about results & survival of the dragon species through evolution, more than morals/ethics & feelings of others. He openly calls Och-kan an experiment and is disappointed by how ‘human’ Och-kan became in the end and how much he hated and rejected his dragon lineage. Waxaklahun Ubah Kan is also INTRICATELY linked to the whole history of Natlan, being the architect of a lot of important historical moments. He gave humanity Phlogiston, he has a half-dragon half-human son, he is linked to our Little Buddy who has the Flamelord’s blessing mark on his horns, he more than likely gave the Scarlet-Eyed Youth the plans to Ochkanatlan as Manqu, and as Liriwu gave Talka the very same plans so they could explore Ochkanatlan 490 years ago. Moreover, I believe he is both the present-day Manqu who we encounter who tells us to find the first Golden Entreaty in the ruins underneath Tequemecan Valley near the Children of the Echoes tribe. Lastly, I think he was also the girl (Chikya) with the limp leg, who helped us discover the floating islands above the People of the Springs! Hell, he might’ve also been that mysterious 1st Chief of the People of the Springs who just one day disappeared after settling the clan near the waters… He seems to know the future to a certain extent, or manipulates the history of Natlan (and the present!) to fit his designs.

It's not the baby tepetlisaurus that's the chosen one of the dragons, but the traveler. When we meet the baby tepetlisaurus, the adult tepetlisaurus says, “Chosen one of the dragons, hold out your hand”, which means he's talking to us. What's more, this is a flashback. In the scene where the baby tepetlisaurus is with the Sage, the mural on the back is intact. But in the quest, we realize that it has been destroyed. So this scene takes place before the baby tepetlisaurus is trapped in the phlogiston. For me, the Sage just sees him as the dragons' only hope and who, according to the Sage, should decide to destroy everything to recreate a nation where they will be the masters (for me, this is also what happened in Khaenri'ah where the king wanted to destroy the whole of Teyvat and everything linked to the Gods so that the pure-blooded men of his nation could create a new nation). What's more, I don't think it's possible for there to be a new sovereign dragon, since in my opinion, the sovereign dragon is still “alive” (undead but alive). In Archon's quest, we have the Abyss who creates an Abyssal sun, but I believe that the creation of a sun is only possible for the sovereign pyro or someone with his authority. So we might have to kill his body, which would make it possible to resolve the situation. This does not prevent the birth of descendants bearing the Flame, but until the sovereign dies, this “mark” is a handicap that destines the bearer to die young.
Now the big question is, will the last part of the World Quest happen in 5.3 or 5.4 (I can't see it ending further than that, but I definitely could be wrong). This is probably my 2nd fav World Quest now after Remuria's.
Wish Genshin devs and team was a lil bit smart Instead of making all these amazing world quests in every single region feel like a side quests, they made it part of "archon" quest and put it into actual story of the game by filling every single patch from .0 to 0.9 or whatever patch, with these quests and end story of a nation and whole version with the usual archon quest they do.. not covering 3-4 patches at first with archon quests and all these world quests and the rest of the patches being mostly empty with quick events and stuff like that >_>

It's Waxaklahun Ubah Kan all along
Okklanatlan is the name
how many times did you say Waxaklahun Ubah Kan😭😭😭ims your going crazy by now
Pyro sovereign faked his death to phanes or xbalanque? 🤔
Faked to phanes. Maybe faked to xbalanque too but thats not for sure
@GenshinBane I see or maybe xbalanque fought with another pyro sovereign I mean another dragon???
I got from the world quest that humans are actually already evolved dragons? Is this true?
🎉🎉

Wish Genshin devs and team was a lil bit smart
Instead of making all these amazing world quests in every single region feel like a side quests, they made it part of "archon" quest and put it into actual story of the game by filling every single patch from .0 to 0.9 or whatever patch, with these quests and end story of a nation and whole version with the usual archon quest they do.. not covering 3-4 patches at first with archon quests and all these world quests and the rest of the patches being mostly empty with quick events and stuff like that >_>
Hmmm i agree too
Yippee!
Yessss
Really, your voice is just too easy to follow all the time. My mind gets knotted with all these lore and I need a good video explanation. Still, yours is my preference! Your accent feels very light 🤙
Hahhaa thanks!!! Thats very kind of u
