Our Noakesey. I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of the best presenters ever to grace our television screens. I feel privileged that I was able to watch him on those black and white screens.

Dor Jon yeah I heard something about that, some parts of the BBC were really aloof with backward in those days, it didn't do any favours for the image of the BBC
Sadly missed and my sister had a Border Collie very similar to Shep for 12 years. He had quite an interesting story to tell, the dog was kept entire and someone asked if he could be mated to a Border Collie bitch. Silly dog didn't have a clue what to do and spent the time running around and the bitch lost interest. However, he was a lovely dog and excellent around people and sadly died of a heart attack when he was 12.
You simply cannot recreate the joy that blue Peter was in the 70s...loved it to pieces.
