You look fantastic!! I used to have that same cut and loved it! I ended up getting the top quite a bit shorter and side-swept, so it blended up from the sides. You should try it! You have the features for it (not everyone does)! Either way, you are rocking it!
The short styles suit both of you really well. You can try asking for a fade on the back and sides next time or try spiking the top if you're uncomfortable with the disconnect. It looks great though. It matches your personality to a t and really accentuates your neck and ears 😍😻💇✂

It looks very nice. However (not intending to seem disrespectful) that looks to me more like a 1990s Mushroom/undercut! I should know! In the 90s those were my favorite haircuts! I had them for years! Until I just starting growing it 12 to 20 inches and giving to locks for love every couple of years.
