I saw this band in 2006 at the age of 13 at a local show on the Central Coast of NSW when KWAS had just come out and it was my first taste of heavy music. This show had at most 50 people there and now they're playing to 50,000 people at festivals. Incredible.
There were 80,000 at this concert, I was there and it blew me away how many people came to see them, they almost litteraly destroyed one of the big purple tents in 2011, pure carnage. They were also very good at With Full Force last year, saw them twice that festival season.
I will forever be proud to be part of the crowd that booed falling in reverse off the stage so that I could hear these guys kickass on stage at warped tour
For those who are saying that the crowd was weak... There were tens of tousands of people out there!! It's Graspop (on of the biggest metalfestivals in the world), so lots of people came to watch them because they could... The true fans were in the front and they were giving all they had... I know, I was there!! The front part was a sick crowd, with heavy pits and amIt was an amzing show!
8 years later and I deeply miss this Parkway Drive, so heavy, fast, and intense. Ire was the start, but the last album just didn't do it for me. I wish they'd mix up their live sets a little more, I don't mind the new songs but they could do their longtime fans some service and play the bangers that got them started, rather than playing an IRE and Reverence driven show.
It's really awesome to see old guys in the crowd rocking out to this music. They don't feel the need to put down newer metal bands like a lot of the younger adults out there. Good music is good music. They know whats up.
+Wes Van Bavel The main thing people simply need to realize is to enjoy the music, no matter what age of either the person or the music, the important thing is to enjoy it.
+Hoi-Yi Ho GMM 2015 was on point and Parkway was did the best performance among all those metalcore bands! Can't wait to see them in 20 days in Hamburg and then Brussels and Tilburg! I hope they'll play at GMM 2017! :3
I realise that if you scream the right way that it won't damage your vocal cords as badly, but singing this entire set still seems like it would be brutal >.
I'm 36 and I thought I had outgrown being "into" in a band and had been bummed out by that for years. I just discovered these guys last week and have spent hours watching their videos and bought their newest album. I hope they tour the US soon.
I know right. I was there but i wear glasses and without my friends nearby i can't get into the moshpit or my glasses will be smashed into pieces. I should get some lenses ..
there was a bigger one on the other side .. i just don't understand why they have a circlepit over there .. i think they were afraid to join the big one :p
Never, ever listened to them before. I have to say... great first impression. They know how to put on a good show. Interaction, movement, and they look like they are having the time of their lives up there. That's how it should be. I want to go to one of their concerts.
@@rosssimpson8966 for sure. I missed out on their Horizons tour and they haven't done a 10 year anniversary tour for deep blue, which was my favourite of theirs. One can only hope though eh
Kinda sad to see how the crowd gets pictured in this vid. I've been to GMM for 3 years now and still is the best fucking festival I've ever been to. I was in the crowd at this very show and trust me, it was way better then the vid show you. Kudo's to people who are actually listening instead of bashing about stuff they don't know shit about.
Matthew Jones During that gig I never punched anyone straight in the face. Really, but if you're doing some moves & anybody get a fist nearby their head/body they all lose their fucking minds. If you hit me, I'll hit ya back, some people should start to learn which shows they're attending... This year they're back!! Partyhard :D
Aaah Winston is a Hero. That dude can get the crowd moving without doing an effort. His vocals are epic, and the band plays the numbers with ease and really clean. There is not much difference between live and cd. Best Band ever! :D

Same but further up north in Port Macquarie :)
Bradley S Port Mac shows are the best
Bro i know im 5 years late, but im with you. Seen these guys in Albury and remember keeping the ticket for like 2 years lmao. Nostalgia at its finest.
easily one of the sickest bands to see live
I just love how they're average guys playing heavy music. No "pretty boy" or "hard ass" look to them. This is how music should be.
average guys with sleaves and full tattoos..... :p
agapawelina I know many people covered in tattoos/piercings/etc. Doesn't mean they're not average people.
***** I think you're over-reacting...

Eternal love to Parkway Drive

i love how people in their 40s and 50s are jumping along with the younger generation
Yeah, music connects us all. That is one of the things that makes it so great. Parkway Drive is one of the other things:)
if a 40 or 50 year old goes to see Parkway Drive, That tells you how amazing Parkway is.

Amaaaazing, parkway drive is best band in the world
Hi cute
I realise that if you scream the right way that it won't damage your vocal cords as badly, but singing this entire set still seems like it would be brutal >.
His control is amazing. If he did more shows, I'm impressed
why are they never performing "dream run" live?
I had to miss this show last year

Southern Hemisphere. Seen them 3 times, completely flawless!
Parkway Drive is the best ever.
Yeah they where amazing :D
18:06 Fucking Epic
New Goal in Life: see Parkway Drive in person
Winston is great at finding the crowds personality. it doesnt matter if everyone is throwing down, its about having fun with the fans that love you.
10:33 Oh my that was a disgrace
I know right. I was there but i wear glasses and without my friends nearby i can't get into the moshpit or my glasses will be smashed into pieces. I should get some lenses ..
Yeah that sucks man, but I guess it's just about enjoying the music at the end of the day!
lol
there was a bigger one on the other side .. i just don't understand why they have a circlepit over there .. i think they were afraid to join the big one :p
Love that kid at 42:45

This band is so great.. and what positive attitude.. this is metal with depth and energy... thx!
Jeff Ling: Sponsored by Hurley.
I didn't know Adam Sandler can't scream that damn good.
looks nothing like adam sandler lol
Anjerika He looks exactly like Stephan Bonnar though.
haha i'm in tears!
looks more like Harvey from Batman
I'm not the only one who thinks that after all!!
It gives me goosebumps to see how much everyone is enjoying the show.
EPIC. These guys are amazing! Kick ass show, thanks for posting.
This is such a great setlist - their sets over the last few years are shit by comparison!
Depresses me I never got to see them live in their prime
@@phatsnag Just have to wait and catch the anniversary tours of the good albums.....

No karate in the fuckin' pit!!
Daniel Carneiro That's what you get at a hardcore show man, quit bitchin' about it
No bitchin here. I thought it was great.
Matthew Jones During that gig I never punched anyone straight in the face. Really, but if you're doing some moves & anybody get a fist nearby their head/body they all lose their fucking minds. Matt De Maeyer Not bitchin, but if ya hit me, i'll hit ya back, and that'll hurt, trust me. Good friendly violent fun, right?!
