'THE DVD' is a 90-minute documentary following the rise of the Australian metal-core juggernauts Parkway Drive. The film follows the quintet from humble beginnings on the beaches of the NSW North Coast to storming stages all over the world.
Part documentary, part extreme-sports video, part live footage...all metal! As an added bonus, the disc features a full live set shot at Sydney's Roundhouse, SweatFest Tour 2008.

The sound, guitars, drums, vocals are all on fucking point. This is the best setlist as well. Absolutely demolish it. Better than the record.

Winston!! This set list needs to be toured around aus!! Dont worry about the big stage show!! Just the crew and your instruments. 2022 Summer tour. Parkway Drive. The "Fuck it Up tour" this is what we all need right now!!! Fucking epic. The songs are timeless!!

@@olliewhitham6084 Probably never going to happen again, they MAY do something like a 20 year tour as they did a 10 year one for Horizons or possibly a Killing with a Smile tour in 2023 but I doubt it, Horizons would be more likely. The guys will be in their mid 40's by that time and probably not up for it, plus the new stuff makes them way more money. Last time they also only toured it in Australia.
@@olliewhitham6084 If you ever got to see Parkway back in the mid/late 2000s it was absolute chaos... after Deep Blue I kind of stopped listening to them but yea those early Killing With A Smile/Horizons tours were fucking nuts.

This show should go down in the history books. What I would do to be at that show hearing those songs live. Quite possibly the best Parkway Drive show of all time. I find myself coming back to watch this years and years later.

If only they could stop sucking and go back to their ways. I mean THIS is what made them who they are, along with the fans that supported them. Now not only are alot of the original fans left in the dust and forgotten, but their music is catering to some bullshit standard so they can occasionally get played on radio stations. I guess greed got the best of them. I dont listen to anything past Atlas. Mainly sticking with KWS & Horizons.

I don't blame them for going for mainstream success, the money is so much better. Just the ability to be played on regular rock stations drives the revenues to much higher levels. I would love to see them do a Horizons tour with some Killing / Deep Blue songs but Winston would probably be done if they kept that style of hardcore up for two decades or more. I'm disappointed I always missed them when they were touring the first few albums but I'm just glad they released them even if they changed their style.
