The half double crochet is my favorite stitch.. I have never done anything with back loop only, so I am looking forward to trying this particular pattern.

Serious question for you guys, how do you stop from stretching the back loop out too far?? I always wanted to try this stitch but, I am afraid of stretching the loop out too far cause I am rather a tight crochetor
I think the back loop will stretch out a little regardless if you’re a tight crocheter or not. I guess my advice would be to practice this stitch on a smaller scale to see if you like the results of it. You can always adjust your hook size and yarn used to get your desired results. Good luck! 😊

I just finished my blanket and I love it. I always have a problem weaving in ends. i am afraid they will come out during wash. Any tips?
