These links are filtered for High-Quality diamonds. Type in your budget, and you will see the highest carat and sparkliest diamond within your budget without sacrificing any important factors.
In this video, we will do a side-by-side Cushion Cut diamond size comparison on the finger or hand as well as give you different price comparisons at each cut size. All along, giving you different tips and tricks to help you save on diamond shopping.
Each Cushion Cut Size in this video is compared to this 1.25 Carat Diamond on a hand with a size 6 finger. This 1.25-carat diamond at Kay Jewelers, like most Brick and Mortar jewelry stores, is about $18,800, and that is because it is very high quality. Now also, in this video, we take those diamonds and compare them to the exact same quality diamond from a website I will put in the description below this video. This 1.25 carat is $6040, so you'd save over $12760 from my link below this video.
Let's Start with a .3 Carat Cushion Cut Diamond on the finger. Cushions are actually my favorite cut of diamonds besides pure round cuts. If a round and princess cut had a child, it would be a cushion-cut diamond.
This is a .5 or 1/2-carat Cushion engagement ring on the hand. The downside of Cushion Cut diamonds is that the sparkle a little less than round cuts. Then again, that is why they tend to be less expensive than their round counterparts. You'd save over $3100 on the diamond from my link over Kay's

Hi! Thank you so much for this video. You mentioned that if we had any questions that you wouldn’t mind helping. I am looking at a 1.52 ct Cushion cut loose diamond. It’s a modified cut and it has excellent Gia grade for cut, symmetry and polish
... however, it’s an I color grade. I wanted to know your thoughts on that. The jeweler said that because of how the diamond is cut and the fire that it brings, the color isn’t noticeable unless places next to a colorless stone. I have a picture of it... not sure how to attach that.

Love the video! And while I get that getting diamonds online saves you so much money but the setting of the ring is super important and those online dealers just don't give the same quality as custom made settings at local jewelers

do you have a preference on crushed ice vs brilliant cut cushions? Some say brilliant cuts appear larger and show less color.

Hi, i realized at the end of the video that with .85c 3 shapes, seems the cushion has very similar size with round. Are they of the same cutting? Because cushion appears much cheaper round w/ same other specs

What about a 3/8 CT. T.W. Diamond Double Cushion Frame Ring in 10K White Gold? Would the diamond sparkle? Or be low quality?

Thanks for making these videos, but why would you completely skip over a 1ct. diamond... since it is the most common size to purchase? The jump from 0.85 to 2cts its weird because I would say that the majority of diamond purchases happen within that range.
Just looking for a video that is more helpful to consumers!

Hey Rick. Upon watching almost all your diamond videos, I wanted to get my girl a cushion cut, but lab-created. And i noticed that the inspection of the diamond reports are by IGI. Is that company ok?
