I love this product!!!! 👍👍👍👍 i wash my hair weekly so I use
the activator after I wash my hair and throughout the week I mix a small amount with the cantu curly cream for kids which defines and holds my curls. It works wonders on my hair and I feel good and look amazing everyting I use it. And I'm always getting compliments on my hair. Most ppl think my hair is fake because my hair is so long and curly, but it's all mine😊. And this is now the only product that I use, and the best part is its not greasy👍👍👍👍

I just tried this again and loved it. When my hair was still damaged it wasn’t good. But it is great now. I’m going through all my rejects and trying them again.
OMG you gave me an idea because I have a pile of rejects! Maybe I need to revisit. I still use this every now and then it really is a great product!
I was really hesitant to try the curl activator from Cantu I have wavy hair with a 2b/2C curl pattern I thought it would weigh my hair down but I only use a dime size amount and it gave me such soft defined waves and curls I use it with the Deva curl wave maker it’s very good combo together
Interesting b/c as I was reading this I would have thought the same for 2b/2c hair! Certain products like this I need to use less. I have a heavy hand with most products, lol. But it usually works for me. I should try the combo with Deva!
I tried this (Cantu styling cream) this morning and wanted to see if you’d done a review on it. My curls came out great, but this left my hair feeling “dirty” and kinda yucky. But my curls look great (trade-off, I guess). PS - Your skin and makeup looked fantastic in this video!

I just bought some of that today for the same price, for my now (curly, frizzy, and unruly hair, as you can see in my photo.) Since barber shops are still closed here in L. A., i figured i gotta at least try to tame my curls? You look fantastic! I just wanna look civilized, and not look like the Wild Man of Borneo! Haha I just looked at 1:06. My son is growing his hair out now as well and he has my hair. He always buzzed it but perfect time to grow it out! I want to send him a product to keep ot tamed its definitely getting unruly! He lives in San Francisco. Maybe I should send him this.
@NY Curl401 I just tried this product out on my hair today for the 1st time! WOW what a difference! My curls are holding and yet, very soft! I thought it might make my hair greasy? But NO! Yes, it works best on very wet or damp hair.
Do you rinse out your product everyday, and I have always understood that you try NOT to touch your hair too much
OMG this video is so old I hardly recognize myself! Yes, I rinse whatever product I used out every day in the shower. I don't shampoo though, only condition after rinsing. I shampoo maybe once every 2 weeks. I didn't show blow drying my hair as I do in all my videos now but that is when you really should not touch your hair. While it's wet after product has been applied. You can see how I do it in my recent videos. Once its dried you can touch your hair because the curls are all locked in. Although in the summer on humid or rainy days I try not to touch it as much. 😊

I always apply to damp hair. I have my hair sit in a microfiber towel after I shower to absorb most of the water.

Is your hair stiff and crunchy? It doesn’t look very soft and bouncy. Just asking, because I don’t want anything in my hair that makes it look like I used too much gel.
Not at all, if anything the opposite. I don't use gels much bc of that feeling which I HATE! If it's even a little crunchy it's out for me. My hair is pretty short in this video (omg and way too blond, lol) so maybe that's why its not as bouncy looking. Also, my hair texture is very thick and pretty coarse so unfortunately for me I don't get much of the soft bouncy look :(

L👀k! I immediately had to skip forward because I wanted to see what was up. Cantu is not stupid... They make a lightweight enough for anybody to use because there's money in any Market. I'm not mad at it because it came out really nice and probably bouncier than if she were to use mousse or something to get a similar definition.
