Sheila, you are so refreshing and fun to watch!!! In your stitching, you are fearless!!! I love it 🙂 Your work is beautiful and your pattern choices are amazing. I appreciate your ability to be yourself and share your thoughts and life so freely. It's hard to believe you have been stitching for such a short time. You remind me of myself 20 years ago, I to sew, quilt, crochet, knit, embroidery and cross stitch. At that time I would tackle anything and didn't doubt myself. Keep at it!! I look forward to each flosstube 🙂
Loved your WIP parade, Sheila. The breadth of your projects still fascinates me, knowing you’ve only been stitching for less than a year. It inspires me to take on higher counts and larger projects. I’ve added several new projects to my wishlist. Stay fearless! Looking forward to your next video. Take care.
We’ve been sugar-free ever since my husband was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes years ago, and neither of us has ever missed it. There are so many really good sugar free grocery items, and if I want to bake, I use stevia as a substitute. I like your idea of starting a new project in honor of your anniversary - such a sweet tribute.
I’m glad RUclips put your video on my feed - loved all you said in beginning about working on older WIP’s (made me feel less ashamed of all the unfinished projects I have here!
Your stitching is unbelievable considering you only started last November. You really caught on fast and you do such involved pieces. They are great. I also enjoy your videos because you tell stories and you are so open about some of your personal life, like your weight gain and you don’t eat sugar anymore. Sometimes it is nice to hear that kind of stuff because a lot of us struggle with that. Thanks for great videos.
Thank you! I try to just be real, because like you I love hearing it from others. We all have these struggles in life and so nice to know we aren’t going through them alone😍 thank you for watching
Hi Sheila… so many pretty stitches… i enjoyed today’s flosstube…good to see you; you are such a delight to listen to😊. Your lavender colored top looks good on you!
I just love your videos. I like so many of your WIP's. I am more of a monogamous stitcher, but when I get bored I start another one. I laughed so hard when you were talking about it being cold in Minnesota and getting bugger icecicles. I live in Wisconsin, so I can relate to that. Good luck in finishing your projects for September. Happy Stitching!!
Love seeing you again and all of your wips. Everything is so beautiful! I am working on Hometown sal, also. But I'm not as far along as you are. Have a great week and can't wait to see you again.
That was a lot of fun to see how far you have come since your first Nov start!!! I too have several big projects going and then like to stitch on smalls to get something completed!!! I too have soooo many WIP’s. I know I have a little over 30. My problem is when I finish a WIP I reward myself with a new start😵💫 So looking forward to us all getting together next month!! Happy Stitching!!🪡
Hi Sheila❤ I have been working most of the past year caregiving until she passed recently. I'm just getting back to my normal daily schedule! So nice to see you again❤ Sweet analogy of your friendships with your projects!
So sorry for your loss! Caregiving is such a blessing to all, but extremely hard emotionally and physically. Thank you for being there for her😍 take time to care for yourself
That was lots of fun to watch while I stitch on one of my many WIPS 😎 I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn’t seen a new episode lately. Great timing 👍
Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching. Just a thought, on the Warm and Cozy Winter, could you outline the snowman with a slightly darker thread, so it would show up a little more?
You had me at the French sampler. I am a collector of French decor and prints. We are also similar in clothing preferences/style I think. I just bought the pattern and the fabric. If my order arrives in time it will be my birthday start on 8/24. Your work is beautiful!
@@TheCrowRiverStitcher I discovered that I accidentally did the same thing you did as far as purchasing the pattern. I bought it for less than a fourth of what it costs on 123Stitch. I feel bad, but consider it a lesson learned. I didn't know any better either...until now.
I'm almost exclusively an electronic format stitcher. I use Mark-up RXP and buy my patterns directly from designers who publish in PDF. If I buy a hard copy I will scan it and use the scan in the program. I love keeping track of my projects that way and not storing paper charts. I can buy patterns from all over the world and not pay shipping!
Enjoyed seeing all your WIPS. I just brought out my Fall and Halloween patterns to work on the next few months, but I am rotating in Emma Susannah Holmann 1848 by Reflects de Soir. When you were talking about your cold Winters I understand about wanting to move but I have the opposite problem, the Summers! I live in Memphis and I am going to melt. We barely have any Spring. We just spent 10 days in British Columbia, Canada. Amazing Summer weather! Then we came home to 100°. Yes, we dream of moving to some place more comfortable one day. There is no stitching on the back patio today. My floss would melt. 😂
Had to look up the Emma one, that border is beautiful! Yes, extreme hot is no fun either. We have had such a mild summer I don’t think we even hit a 90 degree day where I am! It has been cool and rainy and everything is lush and green😍 I do love the 4 seasons here, maybe I just need to be a snowbird for the 4 months of the most extreme winter time. Fall and Halloween is approaching soon and I am loving it!
Hi Sheila. I think we must be sisters from another mister!! I think exactly like you do. I could sit and listen to you talk for hours. I myself also can't stand the superfluous "t". Drives me crazy. Love all the stitching today.
I love the map of Hawkrun Hollow. One of these days I’ll start one from the series. I also started stitch at the end of last year, just after Christmas. It’s fun to see all the different projects and styles of projects that we can manage in such a short period of time. I’m at about 15 wips. I have empty project bags, so that means room for more, right?!
My birthday is in September but most are geared towards back to school and apples. I prefer Fall and pumpkins. I may have to change an October pattern to a September. The first day of Autumn is usually the 23rd and my birthday is the 25th, so I think that's what I will do!
I love your choice of patterns. Beautiful stitching. I think you’re right about the Raven and the Pumpkin. It will look fantastic when complete. The linen you get at JoAnns, what count is it comparable to in linen sold for stitching? I may have to look into that. Great tip. 😊
Thanks for making sure it is correct! I did run out of floss midway while I was stitching the E so it looks like the R. I know when I pulled it back out I thought the same thing😂 it had to double look to make sure I didn’t mess up
Yes, I’ll stop at hobby lobby when I’m in town, but it is an hour away so stuck with just Joann’s close by. Plus hobby lobby is always a tad cheaper everyday unless Joann’s s having a sale
Oh that is a good one! So weird when we lock onto those like pet peeves and when we hear it out little radar goes off😂 I’m sure I say things incorrectly eSpecially with my MN accent🤣

Thank you so much! Can’t wait to hear your first big project on a high count fabric😜
I loved seeing your WIPs, pattern and fabric choices!! Happy stitching! You’ve encouraged me to try a larger project! I love your passion!
Thank you! You can do it, the big ones are so fun and they become such a part of you because you do spend so much time with them🥰

Congrats on being sugar free too! It is not easy with all the food nowadays loaded with hidden sugar. I think I miss ice cream the most
OMG!!! Can’t wait to see the Pumpkin /Crow stitch. It’s like the Halloween Crow River Stitcher.
You always have loved Halloween❤️
Nice parade ❤ still like pumpkin and raven 🐦⬛ I think more orange will help show up.
Thanks, I think you are right too❤️
I’m glad RUclips put your video on my feed - loved all you said in beginning about working on older WIP’s (made me feel less ashamed of all the unfinished projects I have here!

Great wip parade. Prayers and i think about you often
Thank you🥰
I love your taste in patterns. Beautiful work!
Thank you! 😊

Thank you so much for being here!😍
You are always such a breath of fresh air. (And putting a t on the end of across bugs me too)
Thank you! Thank you for watching and commenting too
I really enjoy your videos.. I would love to see your project bags for each project… I love to see project bags!!
I’ll try to incorporate showing my bags! Thank you for watching😍
I’m loving the pumpkin and raven. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Loved your flosstube, the first one I watched. I love large projects also. I tell my stitching friends I don't do smalls, LOL
Welcome!! So glad you watched and commented😍
I love everything you are stitching! Can’t wait to see how those finishes look. I’m taking down notes for future purchases 😊
Thanks! It is so fun to have a vast variety to pick from

Love seeing your WIPS! Your hand dyed fabrics look fantastic. TFS.
Thank you so much!😍
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitching...best wishes❤
Thank you for being here!😍
Love all your beautiful stitches! You're a doll!
Thank you so much!😍
Love seeing you again and all of your wips. Everything is so beautiful! I am working on Hometown sal, also. But I'm not as far along as you are. Have a great week and can't wait to see you again.
That SAL has some heavy stitch count! So fun though ❤️

I miss getting together!!! Do we have a date when we are staring back up? Hope your summer is going well
@@TheCrowRiverStitcher the 12th.
Perfect I’ll add it to my calendar!

Thank you so much!🥰
Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching. Just a thought, on the Warm and Cozy Winter, could you outline the snowman with a slightly darker thread, so it would show up a little more?
Yes, I think I will for sure have to outline him❤️

How fun! I hope you will love it as much as I am loving it! Lots of color changes, but so worth it. Happy early birthday🥳thank you for watching

Your projects are great, but to be honest, I like watching your flosstube to listen to your rambling! You are so funny!
So glad my humor is not lost on ya! I have a hard time taking life too seriously😂 thank you for watching

Beautiful projects! ❤
Thank you! 😊

I like a hard copy. I make a working copy and mark off. Then I can share...
Sharing is caring🥰 I love passing on the love too

The linen you get at JoAnns, what count is it comparable to in linen sold for stitching? I may have to look into that. Great tip. 😊
It is about a 40count. The weave is a little different looking it reminds me of the #5 on a die. Really easy once you get use to looking at it.
@@TheCrowRiverStitcher thank you. I’ll look for it.
Hello there, I don't know if you realized it or not, but the letter "e" in winter is not stitched in...
Thanks for making sure it is correct! I did run out of floss midway while I was stitching the E so it looks like the R. I know when I pulled it back out I thought the same thing😂 it had to double look to make sure I didn’t mess up
Love your stitches, great fabrics! What is the upc code for the fabric from Joann's tgat you die? I cant find locally, maybe could order online?
It is 6901003 I believe. Called linen look. The white is a little creamish. It is about a 40count and I think it is great to give it a try
🌞🌞🌞
🥰
Why don't you try to get your DMC floss from Hobby Lobby? I find that they are much better about keeping all of the DMC colors in stock.
I do prefer hobby lobby, so when I want to make the hour drive I stock up!❤️
Did you forget the e on winter
It looks like it, it is the E but I ran out of floss midway. Totally looks like the R right now
When u have red & white by each other u have to the white first then the red then that won’t happen
Thank you! I have learned my lesson and will make sure to do the white first from now on 😂
Don’t know if Hobby Lobby or Michael’s is in your area but that is where I find my DMC
Yes, I’ll stop at hobby lobby when I’m in town, but it is an hour away so stuck with just Joann’s close by. Plus hobby lobby is always a tad cheaper everyday unless Joann’s s having a sale
I order DMC's on Ebay sometimes when I don't find it at the store.
I know what you mean about mis-pronouncing words. My pet peeve is Modge Podge. MOD Podge, people! LOL
lol! So glad I’m not the only weird one with certain words🤣
I enjoy your videos and seeing what you’re stitching. My pet peeve word is when someone pronounces especially with an x. 🫣
Oh that is a good one! So weird when we lock onto those like pet peeves and when we hear it out little radar goes off😂 I’m sure I say things incorrectly eSpecially with my MN accent🤣
