haha naw, the guy who gives you the armamentalist vocation, if you do his quests you will get a scroll that when held, allows the holder to cast fource abilities on the entire party
Is it just me, or is most of this fight based on luck? His basic attack does insane damage, and Hatchet Man is an instakill after all. If those hit, can you do anything about it?
yeah a lot of the high level boss fights are based on luck. With all the DQ I've played for my channel, I've become aware just how broken the battle system is.

@omega197 I played with somebody who had all the quests. That gave me all the quests, so erdrick's set, and the legacies were all easily obtainable at this point. as for Kamiyama's HP. I have spent a crap load of time farming seeds, and I had some left over for Kamiyama since he's my main bro.
@omega197 lol, the good thing about all the requests and time i've played DQ9 is I'm pretty good at telling the difference between a request and an impossible one. Your request there requires nothing but luck, as lvl 99 nokturnus can spam disruptive wave making any strategy moot and he has a one turn team kill combo he uses often. as for the PS, it takes awhile to lvl a legacy to 99, and a successfull fight takes my best armor and strategy

an update on my quest to defeat nokturnus lv 99 on my own (no team!): i am making videos of him at lvs 20 40 60 80 and 99 lv 20 was easy though he got me to 18 hp. Oh and the rousing ring didn't work. he sleeped me 3 times in a row!
what dose the forces do? i have a sage with the fources up to the win and lighting and i dont get what it dose bc what i always do bc im only level 50's i get 100 tension on my martial artist and use crushed ice. and i use the forces on him and it dosent seem to helm with damage or defense?
@LordRoto request: beat lv99 nokturnus with your party wear DQ6 cameos and also beat him less than 9 turn( and the worst thing is that your hero must wear DQ6 hero costumes, greatly reducing his defence). P.S: you can also post videos of all lv99 legacies with barely same request above (wear cameo costumes) you can also try to beat the final boss again with celestrian equipment(which has the worst defense), copper/sword , and a vocation with lv1( life fource + miracle slash wins).
@LordRoto can you suggest me monsters that is worthy to be extinc... i mean being farmed for seeds? and is it suggested to be only after revocate 10 times? becuase my party revocated once and now nearing to lv 99 my priest already make it to lv 99 .
almost every monster and spell has an element to it, when you use a fource, say fire fource, you deal extra damage to those weak to fire, and you would take less damage from frizzle and fire breaths, ect.

couple of Questions why did Zack never seem to take any damage from his basic attacks ?
why did Zack's 100 tension attack do so little?
Roto is really strong because I farmed a lot of seeds of strength. Other Gladiators I made do less damage because I used leftovers.
And nokturnus had buff
I have never fight in this battle.

By holding the thief scroll you get by doing the thief quests in dourbridge you get a chance of stealing at the end
