      12 Team, 10 Start Super Flex. Current QB's on rebuild team are Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Drew Lock. Would you give Bo Nix for a 2026 late first?

      @@kyleklouda8827 on a rebuild, it is decent process. Can you eek out a 3rd as well or anything? would love to do that. As long as you are not sure the team will be dominating in 2026 barring the apocalypse I think we would generally make this trade! There is a chance you end up regretting it, but the process is sound!

    12 SF full ppr, 1 pt TEP, start 11
    Is Justin Herbert for Bryce Young, George Pickens, a '26 2nd and a '26 3rd worth the tier-down?
    Context: my other QBs are Watson and Carr. I'm also a lock to secure the 1.01 for next year.

    • @Dynoconff
      @Dynoconff  2 месяца назад +1

      No, because the tier down is from someone who will be starting for 5-10 years to someone who is no guarantee whatsoever. The only time we recomend tiering down outside of our "Elite" qbs is when we either have 3 fringe elite qbs, or have 2 and really need to split the assets. In either situation we are looking for 3 1sts of value minimum and you are likely getting 2 here, but not in any way that is liquid or guaranteed to retain value.

    Good problem to have here- I own the 1, 3 & 9 in SF rookie draft.. quite a dilemma for me however.
    I have Lamar and Danny dimes as qb with only Nico, Watson and reed as the valuable wrs..
    I’m hell bent on getting max value and love Harrison at 1, best case #2 goes nabers due to his roster (qb Allen &AR, baker) little exciting at wr, and I get Caleb at 3 to make it all easy..
    BUT I kind of want him to go Caleb and I go nabers at 3 and then grab a qb at 9 and or trade up to 6-7 to lock in Maye..
    I say this knowing league mates and there is a very very good chance at 9 maye AND or McCarthy should be there.
    So question is am I crazy to fade Caleb at 1 and daniels at 3 with a great opportunity to land that next tier of qb?
    And is it possible to not love Harrison - nabers- maye/mccarthy?? Lol😂
    And is it understandable to not love Caleb nabers (best available wr/bowers) at 9….?

    • @Dynoconff

      How many starters is an important piece of the puzzle here. It sounds like you might be a year from competing with the assets you have listed. With that being said, we want to take the best assets. Given your scouting, we think taking WR at 1.01 is a good idea in general, but understand that your opponent now has the 1.02 with Caleb on the clock and might move that to a QB needy team. I might personally ask him if he wants to secure Marv and see if you can milk out a 2nd or a startable asset for him to move up. Given your QB room, we would love to secure one of the best two qbs here. We have done a deep dive episode on next years QB class and while it could surprise, we find it lacking. You are in a place of riches. However, if you are planning to possibly go WR/WR depending on what the 1.02 does, I might try to secure a tradeup before you pick at 1.03. Don't overpay for it, but if you end up with Marv/Nabers/Maye or JJ you are lined up pretty well to compete the following year. The other thing we would heavily consider is if you can get Marv/Caleb at 1.01 and 1.03 is to try to roll the 1.09 forward into around the 2.03 or 2.04 and a 25 1st. Of course might not be possible, but don't be stuck on picking. Number of starters might change our strategy a little bit.

      @@Dynoconff thanks! Appreciate the quick and detailed response!
      It is a 10 team start 9 (1qb,2rb,2wr,te,2flex,sf)
      I hear ya on the trade back with marv, it is possible but he’s a tight shark, I even asked if I could move up from 3 to 2 and he wants nothing less than premium plus..
      the league has their qbs some teams with 3 plus that see lil value in maye mccarthy especially in the mid first.. I also don’t see much trade value this yr for Caleb if that 2 team takes him due to that roster cushion and asset availability..
      I mean quite honestly I could even see the 5 (daniels lock considering 4 wants wr) trading for Caleb with the 2 and letting daniels fall to 6! These scenarios don’t want me to feel like Caleb is a smash at 1 and letting not only maye/mccarthy available at 9 but not getting a elite starter in marv and similar in value to Caleb with daniels..

    • @Dynoconff
      @Dynoconff  2 месяца назад +1

      Can definitely understand going MHJ, especially in a start 9! He is more likely to truly be a hammer than Caleb, and you can hope to get him at 3 it sounds like. Just keep in mind that there is a good chance danny dimes is not starting next year, so we are certainly priotizing getting our QB of the future given the way next years class looks!

    WR have become a pain in the ass. Can’t buy or sell elite ones in most leagues. Even if you offer extra get turned down and if somone wants to buy they never will pay enough. The WR2 and WR 3 people overvalue. Cant buy diontae from most for a 2nd but sure can’t sell him for that either. So basically I am aiming at drafting potentially elite WR. Cheapest time to get them is at draft before the pick is made or they start producing. Bought marv for a late 2025 and a 1.08. Have to hope marv turns into something but can’t buy jj/chase/lamb for that usually.

    • @Dynoconff
      @Dynoconff  2 месяца назад

      WR are certainly more difficult to buy that RBs, but QBs are much more of a scare resources. We are not saying do not take WRs at any point. We would rather go QBs early and take the round 3-7 startup WRs than the other way around for a long term build! The cheapest time to buy any player is before they start producing of course! That's why we love rookie picks!
