Hi Prepper Princess. Here is a suggestion. Volunteer at a local food pantry. They need the help. Also, when you volunteer, the volunteers get food boxes left over from what is not given away from that day. Yes, even community food pantries have food waste, and giving to volunteers is a great way to rescue food that is not picked up by those in need. I know you have enormous assets and investments, but rescuing food after you volunteer is a great way to fill your pantry and freezer and save food, especially the perishable food, not given away that day.
Prepper Princess, I love the 4 meals prepped at once, and $3 per meal? Exceptional! You are such an inspiration! Who says you can't be frugal AND happy?
White beans are very very high in potassium, much higher than bananas. Dried white beans are extremely cheap and because they are high in potassium will help you stay healthy and not need a doctor as much. Just a frugal tip.
A savings tip: cut the potatoes and carrots smaller, they cook faster. Also you only need to barely cover them with water, if that. Use a tight fitting lid and they will partially steam. Saves you money.
❤🙂 The water from boiling vegetables, and even your potato water, contains lots of water soluble vitamins and minerals, so use it to make soup with, or rice. Even make bread with it, or muffins. You can water a plant too.WASTE NOTHING AT ALL.
Flies hate lavender in every form. I use a spray around my windows and have planted some under every window I could. Hang dried lavender in cloth bags around doors and windows.
In Russia, we usually peel carrots and potatoes. We remove the skin from carrots and potatoes. Mashed potatoes taste better if you mashed potato them not with a mixer but with a wooden mortar and pestle. This way you can save electricity. We don't skimp on food. But we're Russian. And Russians love good food.
Over the past couple of years the Stove Top no longer comes with the season pack separately. It’s all mixed together now in the boxes, which I do not like, because the dehydrated celery doesn’t reconstitute well enough without bringing the water and seasoning packet to a boil according to the old packaging and directions before adding in the stuffing cubes. I wish Stove Top would go back to the old version. 😬
You can make Black Bean patties with the black beans and stuffing. You can also freeze the patties. We own a restaurant and we make black bean patties with BBs, panko crumbs and spices.
Pepper princess you can make a meat loaf out of the stove top stuffing. The recipe is usually on the back of the chicken box. 2lbs ground beef; 1pkg (6oz stove top); 1C water; 2eggs, 1/2 C BBQ sauce. Sweet BBQ sauce works best. Mix all in bowl BUT only use half the BBQ sauce in the loaf (other 1/2 goes on top of meat loaf) use 9x13 baking dish bake about 70-75min at 375 degrees. Does not use that many ingredients and ones it does use are things a lot of people have on hand!
I had to move into a new, more expensive apartment as my old apartment complex kept allowing section-8 in. Well section-8 folks usually destroy apartments and ruin their neighbors' apartment so I had to move finally. Too much annoying booming music. My apartment being smoked out with skunk weed and cigarette coming from next door. So all that to say, I really appreciate your money saving tips still after all these years!!
You are the best. Please keep making these wonderful, valuable videos. I love what you are doing and my hat is off to your status of being financially independent. Your a great role model. Thank you
I had this streaming in the background as I have favorite RUclips channels I love to watch. My nephew was sitting here 10 minutes ago playing a game on the PC and he turns around and says, "What the heck is she doing?" I said that it looked like she had a flyswatter trying to go after a bug or something. He rolls his eyes and says, "So is that beginner jedi lightsaber class? She's not exactly Skywalker caliber is she." Smartmouthed kid! Of course 10 minutes later, still can't stop laughing.
i wonder if you could have made the mash potatoes hobo style, wrapped the diced potatoes in foil and stick in the fire before cooking the steak so it has time to cook through 🤔. If you have a canister vac and don’t mind keeping it on, you could just use the hose part to suck the flies mid-air. They get caught in the vortex.
To cut gas use smallest pots possible boil then turn off let cook on residual heat. If you see a stove top 3 tier steamer you can cook all at same time saves gas
Real life with prepper princess. Just one comment I remember years ago when my budget was ridiculously small I can only afford to eat potatoes and eggs. Your video just reminded me of those days I must admit I never got tired of fried potatoes and eggs. Thanks for your channel.
Our grocery budget is 239-440 a month for a family of two adults and three teens, BUT there are things that make this possible that I know others don’t have access to. We garden, I have access to a clearance grocery, I buy staples in bulk, and, most importantly, I schedule hours each day and week baking and cooking from scratch. I don’t buy anything pre-made except occasionally tortilla chips and crackers, sometimes pasta and tortillas. If I worked outside our home there is no way I could do all of that. I really feel for folks who don’t have any of those options. I’m astounded by the increase in prices, even over the past year. I’m learning to make tofu and tempeh because the price on both has increased about 30% since last year.
I am not working either currently. I lost my hearing three years ago. I now have a cochlear implant. I can hear better, but it is still not perfect. My point is that now that I am at home, I'm actually saving my family money. I am able to cook all our meals at home and cook from scratch. We rarely buy processed food. I'm not using a ton of gas going back and forth to work or adding wear and tear to our car. So, I feel like it actually saves us money. It all balances out.
Those black beans combined with stuffing and even a bit of the mushroom soup powder as spice would make delicious veggie burgers and probably lots of them. They freeze very well too.
LOVE your videos, and yes, a big difference between wanting to save money and HAVING to. Your videos are informative. But gotta say, Rocky and Nala have my heart
I sold my house in Sacramento CA and bought a 1942 bungalow with good bones in the University district in Reno NV. My property taxes are $770/yr and no state income tax. This move has saved me about 10-12K annually in state income tax and property tax. In NV, your property tax value is based on the value the year the house was built, then cannot increase more than 3% per yr for owner occupied homes. You just need to fill out and submit an owner occupancy affidavit and send it to the Assessor's office. My homeowners insurance is $600/yr, and my State Farm auto insurance policy for my campervan which is classified as a motorhome (must have a bed, kitchen, and shower) is 1/2 of what the premium would be for a personal use vehicle. Try to get a pleasure use RV/motorhome classification for your vehicle if you can and if the insurance company will write you a policy for that.
Don’t give up! We need your guidance!! Thank you for your insight and I love the cooking videos. Can’t wait to see next set of home renovations. Have you checked on your Arizona house? So pretty, I hope they didn’t damage it
Hey next time your out shopping look for one of those battery powered fly zappers, they look like a tennis racket😊 and really lights up a flying bugs life😅😅😅
There's only the two of us. I started cutting up our meat, whatever it may be, and either combine it with whatever the side is or spread it out on a plate. It's really made my fella cut back on the amount of meat he's eating and he's not complaining. We're eating more beans, more salads, and more soups then ever, but we're grateful that we can still eat without worrying about where the next meal will come from. I just came across your channel, and I'm a new subscriber. Thank you
You might want to look into an instant pot if you can find it on a black Friday sale. They barely use any electric and you can cook your vegetables in there and avoid using gas.
I’m in Australia and I know spring/summer is heating up when the flies start. My favourite way of dealing with them is the vacuum. It’s getting really expensive here too. Prices have started going up again in the last fortnight. Your meals look great PP. Simple and delicious. Well done.
Save a bit more money on gas by making sure the flame is not outside the circumference of your pot. This cooks inefficiently as the heat goes up the sides of the pot and heats the air around the stove, not the food. The flame should be adjusted so that it is heating the bottom of the pot, about 1cm in to the base. You can save 40% energy on average by doing this and the food does cook faster too. Another tip for gas stoves is to use heavy based pots. They are designed to hold heat in the base so you can turn off the heat when the food is almost done and the retained heat in the base does the rest. Always use a lid when boiling too to maximise cooking and shorten time. Saves the kitchen getting steamed up too. I had a gas stove and this is the recommendation that was issued from our gas supplier. I got the other tips from my friend who is a qualified commis chef. I have an induction hob now and its way more efficient than gas too, and you can get little countertop ones too. Solar works great with them. For cooking on the pit outside you can steam those veggies in a Dutch oven with a basket inside it. It's very common in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean countries to cook and bake everything on a fire.
Steak looked great! Yes, it seems everyone is experiencing the pain of food prices continuing to rise. We make our own pizzas and oven roast a lot of one pan dinners with chicken or pork and vegetables. We no longer eat at restaurants and for a treat now and then, go out for an ice cream cone. Love your adorable doggies! I've been subscribed to your channel for years and want to thank you for all your informative content! Much respect.
FREE TIP: I boil potatoes and carrots together, it saves energy and if you want to mash them seperately, you can simply separate them at the end... AND, if I have fresh beans, i throw them in a little later when the potatoes are nearly done. Regards from cold Canada. ;o)
Oh I love cooking on wood like that. Growing up when we would cook in the fire pit momma would slice potatoes up and add onions and bacon and butter and put it on tinfoil and the wrap the tinfoil in another layer of tinfoil then put that in the bottom of to fire pit and have them slowly cook the put the meat on the rack and cook it. So yummy that way.
My next grocery shopping day will be at Aldi’s I’ve been doing super simple meals too. I get fresh veggies use them up and then I have frozen as a back up. I only buy ground beef, ground Turkey & chicken breast. I also try to cook up food for at least 4 days just like you’re doing. Using up what I have and finding the best prices has become a little mission for me. 😊 Happy Holiday ❤
I’m a senior I live in East Tennessee. I can do a lot of meal prep for $40 enough single serving meals enough for almost the whole month. I lived in Northern California for 16 years it’s pretty expensive
I've been cutting all my meat down too 2ozs. Per meal and making more soups and stews using grounded meats for casseroles. I was gifted a smoked ham butt and 4 hamburger patties, potatoes 8lbs. broccoli, bunch of asparagus,2loaves of raisin bread and a bag of Apple's. Now I can make and freeze egg rolls, breakfast burritos and hand pies.
Hey, remember the forest! I was at the market buying blueberries, 6 euros per box. I left the market for a few moments pretty much empty handed into the locals woods and had many boxes of blueberries for free.
In my community, a non-profit opened up that saves me a fortune. Street-kids-in-cook's training use food collected from the big grocery stores that doesn't get sold (would normally go to the dumpster). They make a fresh hot entree every day and have a variety of stews, pastas, hearty soups and curries, which they vary each week. A frozen container is good for 2 meals and costs $4,50. in Vancouver BC which is the most expensive city in Canada. Sometimes I doctor it up with some extra veg sometimes not. So the food doesn't go to waste, the kids get training and jobs, and I get lots of inexpensive and delicious meals. I buy a weeks worth at a time. These should be in everybodys community!
Hi Prepper, love your channel! A fly issue could be due to a dead rodent in the basement, walls or attic. I own a 150 year old home, and they do get in. Whenever we see lots of flies, 20+, it's most likely due to something has died in the house, unfortunately.
Hi prepped. I am a retired culinary teacher but i always emphasized energy efficient cooking. suggestions, for mashed potatoes i use a pampered chef microwave steamer. if you don’t have this, a glass bowl with a glass lid like a pyrex. cut the potatoes and microwave. no water. this also retains nutrients. when soft, don’t use your electric mixer, instead use a potato masher, add your butter and milk (i sometimes use almond milk and no one knows the difference). so very little energy. or you could buy a cast iron pot to cook your veg on that outdoor fire pit grill. or you can also steam microwave your veg without water as long as it is covered making a little steam chamber.
I lucked out last week and this week getting 2 13 lb turkeys for .49 cents a pound. I cooked one last week and I'm currently making stock out of the bones. The second one is in the freezer. You can't beat $6.50 for a 13 lb turkey.
You did well on your meat price. My husband and I opted for a 6’ chest freezer at $48 per year in energy cost. And I recently purchased 1/4 cow, and 1/2 hog for 2024. I really can’t beat the price compared to the nothing special supermarket nearby. We have plans to pick up a few chickens as well.
🦃🍁 Thanks for letting us see how you make your meals. So many people don't know how to cook for themselves and it's FAR cheaper than running out for fast food. I work with people who order out for lunch to the tune of up to $13 per order. If they would just do the math they would be amazed at the cost per year. We are very spoiled here in America. Just want to wish everyone here, you and yours a very 🦃🍁Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🍁
even in freezing cold wisconsin we have flies in our house but we live next to a dairy farm so I guess that 's why. I am the queen of stretching meals, but with 7 kids (4 are teens/ preteens it's sure getting tough! thankfully hubby hunts so we have lots of venison. we get fresh eggs for $2/dozen from a friend, I buy chicken on sale, we have frozen/ canned veggies from our garden. bought 2, 50lb bags of potatoes for $8 /bag last month. but the fresh fruit veggies and dairy are adding up.
To reduce your fuel consumption on boiling potatoes, threw a little salt in the water. As soon as the water starts boiling with your potatoes, cover with a lid, and reduce the heat under the pot. It's a little of chemistry, covering the boiling water will increase the pressure which will increase the temperature of the water - faster cooking time of the potatoes. And adding salt to boiling water will increase the temperature of the boiling water.
To stretch dairy on mashed potatoes I reserve some of the starchy potato water after boiling and use it with butter and salt to cream potatoes. It still tastes really good.
Yeah prepper princess I never liked the skin on the potatoes but then I found out that a lot of the vitamins and nutrients are in the skin so I just wash them really well and keep them on and it actually tastes pretty good.😊
You can use the cream of mushroom soup mixed with canned green beans and top with stouffers stuffing to make a green bean casserole. Yes it may pack a sodium punch but if portioned out as a side with protein it may not be that bad.
Hello Amber. You just reminded me that years ago my dad ran over his lawn mower extension cord a few times. My sisters and I used to find it amusing. Good memories. Yes food is expensive along with everything else. I don't go shopping as much anymore and when I do, I get what is strictly necessary and what's on sale. You also reminded me when I was around 8 years old I went to my cousins house and we left the balcony door open and many flies came in. We swatted flies all afternoon and collected them in 3 glass jars. We had fun that day! Thanks for the memories. The steak looks good. Bon appetit!
We are surprised you did not use an old pot over the fire to boil your carrots and potatoes ( that can be boiled together)...the best way to get ride of flies are the old fashion sticky tapes that used to hang from doors in the old days.
Another channel I watch shops at Aldi often and has done several videos about their prices. She did a video this week where she went back to a 2 year old video where she talked about the price increases at that time and compared to current prices. The price increase was over 60%. I've found their prices are about the same as Kroger regular prices on many items now.
I love how Rocky was using Nala for a pillow. Your meals looked delicious! I know it's probably not in your budget but I had a problem with knats and I bought this generic plug in bug light thing from home depot for about 14.00. It's a blue night light when you plug it in and no chemicals and the bugs stick to a piece of cardboard that you refill. I only change them about twice a year so once you get the night light the refills are not that expensive. I never see flying bugs anymore.
I don’t know if this is an option in CA but here in WA I just challenged my property tax assessment and it was reduced by 80k assessed value. It was honestly so dang easy, I just emailed the assessor’s office and and them to review it, they adjusted the condition of my house. If not a possibility in CA maybe someone will see this that can benefit from it.
Where we live, the city would not budge. They even told us that our cold, unheated entry was livable space which added to our square footage. Loathe them!
My county in NC will accept challenges also. They had compared my 1963 house to newly built homes with similar sf and bed/bath. They reviewed condition and reduced the assessment.
I was laughing out loud at the fly swatter segment! So funny! They are big!! I like how you do 4 meals at a time. I don't mind having the same 4 meals in a row. Good idea!
Watching you, Alaska Prepper, Greyman Prepping started in 2020 and I built up my pantry following the advice. Glad I did because I have a year supply now. I don't have to shop very often unless I want dairy or fresh veggies. Thank you for your advice! Oh yeah, I work at a hospital and my medical benefits we now have to pay into. $720 per year for me plus 1500.00 deductible. It is ridiculous. Used to be part of our benefits.
Food prices have gone crazy! I bought Fritos today only because I have company coming. A small bag was $5.69! I nearly died, the last time I bought them they were $2.99. I am retired and living alone. I do worry about the future.
We are retiring in July of next year. I am doing what I can to prepare us. We are trying to get into the groove of mostly cooking at home. I love the idea someone gave of cooking three meals and freezing one and at the end of the month they don’t have to cook for a week. We will have two lean years until our social security kicks in and then we will have enough with the ability to do some trips. I’ve been buying in bulk at Sam’s when it is cheaper to do so. We are slowly stopping eating out. Most fast food is through the roof even at restaurants like Taco Bell. I’ve only been getting a four piece cheese sticks when hungry when out and I bring a homemade coffee or matcha drink to go with it. Retirement is such a challenging, frightening, but joyful time. We are learning as we go.
Oh boy! That is a lot for you. I have noticed also that it is tough to sell anything on Facebook Marketplace. People are just not buying. Time to dig to the prepper pantry and cut back on everything. We need to stay strong together 💪 I am watching your videos and letting the adds run 🙏
I use the water from any vegetables or potatoes that I've boiled and use it to make into a gravy or add into my home made soups. It's cheaper than using vegetable stock.
Hey Prepper Princess, I just wanted to let you know I loved this video! Well not so much that we are talking about it being tough for everyone now, but I loved the style of this video. It was just YOU, the real authentic you doing your thing and taking us along. Loved it! 👍🏼
At my my local Salvation Army store…my sister and I shop on Saturdays because everything is 50% off….I bought two matching plates that had my favorite animal on them…chickens…and they were $1 each so it was 1$ for both….but there was a dining room table there that was very nice and only I think $75…because it was 1/2 off….I’ve also have bought sweet short boots that were 5.99$ and got them 1/2 off and I wear them all the time😊 enjoy your videos!❤ps my sister only runs her dishwasher at night and it’s super full and washes clothes after 6 pm because that’s when the rates are lowest…
I love all of your videos. Yes times are so tough right now and it's so hard to make ends meet. Such a pretty sunset in the background from your kitchen.
Flies = make paper cone, leave fly size hole in bottom point, place in wide mouth jar that has coke or sugar water slightly in bottom. Look for morning surprise! 😉
We’ve always had problem with flies. I don’t like these things, kind of gross, but those sticky things that hangs from ceiling helps keep them under control. Good price on tor roof. Love our new metal roof and watching our first snowfall slide off the roof.
Hi Prepper, this is Sue, the Dutch make a dish called stomp pot where they mix and cook there veg with the potatoes and mash all together, it is really good.
Flies come because you are cooking meat especially beef draws them. To avoid cooking meat when it is dark out morning or evening or if you cook in daylight mix about 1cup water 10 to 20 drops peppermint oil and 1 tea peppermint extract put in a spray bottle spray around doors and windows especially kitchen wherever the meat smell would attract them it works great
Hello from Northern Germany. A little tip against the flies. There are fly curtains with magnetic closures, ideal for the back door. I do my meal prep in glass bowls with lids. Stay strong and with ideas on how to stay debt free.
Just a tip... You should mix your potatoes in a plastic bowl if you're going to use a hand held mixer. The mixer will ruin the finish on your pot. I found out the hard way....LOL
I bought a “go fresh” bag yesterday. For 7:00$. I got a big container of cherry tomatoes, 7 large onions, a head of romaine lettuce. 4 papayas, two bell peppers, two grapefruits and 3 apples. Just sorted through and washed produce. This week we will eat around these products.
You should roast your carrots and potatoes (cut up in small cubes) instead of boiling. Adding brussels or any other veggies. Coat with a little olive oil salt and pepper. Very good !
We've had a ton of flies too! Yeah you can see them. We've had Asian beetles too. Little bowls of meat grease ( teaspoon) with a bit of water and dish soap.. leave out and should attract them. I put in a little plastic lid set in a Ziploc bag ( open) then in the morning close and toss out
I'm thankful I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and a vehicle that is paid off. No credit card debt, a bit in savings. I feel I'm blessed.
Glad you have something.
Hi Prepper Princess. Here is a suggestion. Volunteer at a local food pantry. They need the help. Also, when you volunteer, the volunteers get food boxes left over from what is not given away from that day. Prepper Princess, I love the 4 meals prepped at once, and $3 per meal? Exceptional! You are such an inspiration! Who says you can't be frugal AND happy?
4x$3 =$12? So 2 steaks, potatoes, carrots and another side for $12 ? Did I miss something?
@@suec2117 she said her meat portions were 3oz. so that’s l2 oz. of meat for 4 meals plus the veggies. Easy to get that from $12.
Did anyone else notice the beautiful sunset outside the door window. Napa was looking at it. Gorgeous view!
I usually cook more than one meal at a time. They aren’t leftovers, they are planned-overs.
You are so disciplined. Probably more than almost all of your followers. But you are an inspiration. Thank you.
I love your honesty. It hard to find frugal channels where people are actually practicing what they preach. It makes you relatable!
White beans are very very high in potassium, much higher than bananas. Dried white beans are extremely cheap and because they are high in potassium will help you stay healthy and not need a doctor as much. Just a frugal tip.

I peel my carrots. Most people I know do. Either way for potatoes but I usually peel them.
Tip: use 1/2 the Stove Top season packet instead of the entire packet for less salt. Save the other 1/2 of the packet to season homemade gravy.
This is a great idea! Thanks for posting the tip.
Steak…$4.98/lb.
Potatoes…$1.38/lb.
Carrots…$.68/lb.
Watching Prepper Princess demonstrate her karate moves to kill the flies…priceless
You can make Black Bean patties with the black beans and stuffing. You can also freeze the patties. We own a restaurant and we make black bean patties with BBs, panko crumbs and spices.

That sounds good. I'm going to try that, but half the recipe with 1 lb gr.beef.

Do you guys realize how healthy she probably is, she doesn’t eat fast food, I barely see her eat anything processed. I will bet she’s healthy.
That how our family has always ate.
zero alcohol also
One meal is healthy, the other two are coffee. She loves ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ coffee!
She even exercise before food
Swapping flies😂
She is. PP is the best. Everyone should be doing this.

I am making and eating more soup.
Me, too!
Potato soup 4 days. Can creamed corn last 2 days corn chowder
😂 me too lol
Me too!
Me, too, and I feel full and much healthier. Thick chunky homemade veggie 'stoup'. Leftovers for days that keep getting better. 😋
I found chicken breast for $1.99 a pound last week and was so happy you would have thought it was Christmas!
I live in the U.K. and I never use the oven any more for reasons that are obvious. I’m not alone.

Thank you for your insight and I love the cooking videos. Can’t wait to see next set of home renovations. Have you checked on your Arizona house? So pretty, I hope they didn’t damage it
No damage thank God, just very very dirty. Had to call in a special cleaning crew.
Thank you
Prepped Princess the master fly Ninja 😂 those steaks look yummy! Great tips as always
PP, you are amazing and your pups are adorable! ❤️
There's nothing more satisfying than portioning up a well planned meal batch for another day(s). :)
I love your food videos always. Please make more 🙏
FREE TIP: I boil potatoes and carrots together, it saves energy and if you want to mash them seperately, you can simply separate them at the end... AND, if I have fresh beans, i throw them in a little later when the potatoes are nearly done. Regards from cold Canada. ;o)
Yep....very cold Canada.
So much respect for you and your willpower and how much you do for yourself. Girlpower 😊
Same here. Found turkey at my local Meijer store for the generic brand for .49 per pound with M Perks.
same here...49 cents a lb turkey. I love a turkey dinner any time of the year. All the trimmings are on sale now too.
You are an inspiration to me with all your clever money saving tips .
Love these laid back videos, always my favorite of yours. As always, thank you for sharing.
That’s a nice sunset view from your side door!
Can you do a budget house cleaning video? Your house always looks pristine!
😂
even in freezing cold wisconsin we have flies in our house but we live next to a dairy farm so I guess that 's why.
Good to know
To stretch dairy on mashed potatoes I reserve some of the starchy potato water after boiling and use it with butter and salt to cream potatoes. It still tastes really good.
I recommend sticky fly papers and sticky window strips. We get a lot of flys when they harvest. They catch a lot and are cheap.
Yes it may pack a sodium punch but if portioned out as a side with protein it may not be that bad.
i use the water i cook potatoes or pasta in to water plants after it cools.
I liked this video! You should do more cooking and talking videos! 🙂 I've gotten some good cheap recipes from other RUclipsrs on here!
Thank you for not overcooking the steak and also for no audible mouth smacking noises. We could be friends, PP ❤️
Good idea!
We do all most all cooking at home and my stomach now prefers it.
Especially baked goods. Thank you for the content and inspiration!
💙💙💙Thank you for sharing! I enjoy the long videos! And yes everyone is struggling. Like my kids would say "The struggle is real".💙💙💙
We hit the farmers market near closing. The venders dont want to bring anything jome and practically gove ot away
Still not bad compared to most but still sucks you have to pay when it used to be free
I use fly strips you hang up. Careful where you hang very sticky. They do work
Food prices have gone crazy! I bought Fritos today only because I have company coming. A small bag was $5.69! I nearly died, the last time I bought them they were $2.99. I am retired and living alone. I do worry about the future.
Geez that’s a lot
PP, please do a video on solar for beginners and idiots.
I don’t have a clue but would trust your input.
Thanks for the tip!
Hey Prepper Princess, I just wanted to let you know I loved this video! Well not so much that we are talking about it being tough for everyone now, but I loved the style of this video. It was just YOU, the real authentic you doing your thing and taking us along. Loved it! 👍🏼
I've reused foil for years! People think I'm CHEAP but they're not offering to buy me any either 😅
Yup! It’s a bit tough on these streets 😂😂 but let us remember to find things to be grateful for ❤
At my my local Salvation Army store…my sister and I shop on Saturdays because everything is 50% off….I bought two matching plates that had my favorite animal on them…chickens…and they were $1 each so it was 1$ for both….but there was a dining room table there that was very nice and only I think $75…because it was 1/2 off….I’ve also have bought sweet short boots that were 5.99$ and got them 1/2 off and I wear them all the time😊 enjoy your videos!❤ps my sister only runs her dishwasher at night and it’s super full and washes clothes after 6 pm because that’s when the rates are lowest…
To avoid cooking meat when it is dark out morning or evening or if you cook in daylight mix about 1cup water 10 to 20 drops peppermint oil and 1 tea peppermint extract put in a spray bottle spray around doors and windows especially kitchen wherever the meat smell would attract them it works great
The meal looks great, I agree, everything is going up!!!!!!!!!!
I was thinking the same thing: lesson learned
I love what you have done to your place. You have good taste . Everyone is having a hard time and we are praying for better, God Bless you!
What is a go fresh bag and how do you get one?
@@Maddie-lv5sghere in Quebec, we have Maxi stores that bag up less fresh fruit and vegetables and sell from 5 to 7$.
You should roast your carrots and potatoes (cut up in small cubes) instead of boiling. Adding brussels or any other veggies. Coat with a little olive oil salt and pepper. Very good !
Close your back door to keep flys out. Simple. Get a screen door or a cheap mesh curtain they sell for doors.
She has screen door. Pull out roll kind I think.
We've had a ton of flies too! Yeah you can see them. We've had Asian beetles too. Little bowls of meat grease ( teaspoon) with a bit of water and dish soap.. leave out and should attract them. I put in a little plastic lid set in a Ziploc bag ( open) then in the morning close and toss out
Meal planning and prepping is the key. Know where your next meal is coming from. Dont impulse buy when you are hungry.
So true! Even when shopping online which I have to do.
