Glad the wreath works out. I was worried it might be too big but seems in the right basic range for a door at minifig scale. Also great point about the dark green.
Love the bush, might give it a try myself! Question: sometimes you use brown carrot tops and sometimes the brown branch pieces, as in the bush. What is the difference? And what is the part number of the branch piece? Ps: I'm binge watching your bank MOC, very entertaining! 😊
1:00 you can probably twist the links in this design a little for snazzier looks. Also, you can use claw pieces for detail. 2:57 you could have used nunchucks for a chain in there
I love all this. I think the only thing that holds me back is my poor color vision. I know you ain't into the science lessons, but that bare tree (6½ min-8½ )is a great way to demonstrate fractal geometry. Or how it describes similarity on different scales. Tree's branch into limbs, which branch into leaves is similar to how our arms transition to hands, then fingers. Inside the veins, arteries and capillaries are organized in our bodies that look similar to when you look inside the tree, it's got a similar system that moves water and stuff up and down the tree. Just a new way of looking at the universe. I really like the snow covered bush too, simple in design but beautiful nonetheless!
I love how your techniques are fairly simple but the end result is always super intricate and much more complex looking. Great job!
Thanks so much!
Everything was great. I especially loved the snow-covered bush, bare tree, and the simplicity, yet effectively, built wreath.
Thanks so much!
I really enjoy the way you show these, easy to follow and simple. But they are stunning. Thank you.
Thank you!
Great tips!
Glad you like them!
Great stuff. Thank you as always.
Thanks

Using a dark orange layer at the bottom of the bush is very smart. Adds a lot of depth
Thanks
10:05 Minifigure neck brackets are also good for SNOT.
True

The carotid tops are taller, but to me, less detailed the branches are shorter. So I usually pick based on thd length I need.

I like that idea I've never owned Lego nunchucks
Thank you for the video -- I love the builds!!
Glad you like them!
8:17 Didn't that branch piece first appear in black for Kevin's hair in the Minions sets?
No, it's been around longer than that.

Woah I always wanted to make something for Christmas, for for example I don't have enough plants pieces to make nothing cool jsjsjs
Isnt using the bit on the roller skate as a stud an illegal techique? I heard it deforms anti-studs more then anti-studs are suppost to.
Not sure but it seems to fit easy and legally. I might be wrong though
That's a unicorn horn.
The studs on the subscribe brick are WAY out of proportion.
Yes they don't make 3x3 round plate only tiles.
Yeah it’s kind of surprising to me that LEGO makes 3x3 circular tiles, but not a 3x3 circular plate counterpart. One day maybe…
