Just finished orientation at TMC a week ago and heading out with my trainer Sunday. Good luck to you 💪🏾 If you’re watching Choices videos you are on the right track.
They probably afraid of the sheets having too much tension on them and possibly cracking them. They have them secured to the pallet already. Glad you back to work. Bad injury is no joke, been there! Take it easy.
Hauled granite slabs all over the south east for a year. Marble is by far the softest and most brittle. Its a good Idea to strap over the top of some part of the pallet. Downward pressure on the edge of those slabs ,and a good bump, and they can snap off or crack. Great load man!
When @Choicemas post a video l press play immediately!!!! I’ve learned so much from you Bro now l get to apply all the lessons I’ve watched on Sunday when I meet up with my trainer. Finished Orientation with TMC on 03/11/22 and I’m finally getting to hit the road. Thanks for putting out 🔥 material and I plan on buying a few T-shirts in the near future……..as soon as I start earning a check 😉 Take care and keep the videos coming 💪🏾
Great attitude and way to appease the "powers that be" when tying down. My personal preference is to not winch everything on the same side and to put a 1/2 twist on the straps. I'm totally baffled as to why they wanted those pallets strapped like that! If they are worried that the skids might slide forward, then they could have had you strap a 4x4 down in front of each skid. But your idea of cross strapping would have been better yet. Keep up the good work.
Well considering that’s the only thing they taught me (SERIOUSLY) I definitely adopted their method. The only thing I ever touched in Marshfield weee straps. Then they sent me out with a curtainsider where we through straps for 21 days. Not cool, but cool, because it gave me the opportunity to teach myself securement. Stay fresh brother and drive safe. God Bless.
Not at all. Just remember your pulling marble. I don’t drive the same when I’m pulling coils as I would if I were pulling lumber. A motocross racer takes the turn differently if the soil isn’t packed. Basically, you secure and you drive according to condition and circumstance. Make sense?
Awesome 👍🏾 my brotha I had to share this with a homie he moves them on a hot shot set-up five him a little positive info on it thanks again 🙏🏾👍🏾💪🏾
Love these videos. These videos got me excited to start flatbedding. I just got my CDL and I’m heading to TMC next week.

Question Can I get slabs on A frame without having to wooden strips on my 48ft trailer??
Yes. Will need some more securement though considering it can be blocked to the flatbed. You can block it other ways.
its so weird i do the same thing with strapping and how you strap, i think its like a roehl thing

Does anyone know whats the green strapping used to secure the slabs to the pallets?
It’s just a vinyl strap the company places on it.
Was this out of Albany, NY?
I believe so and can’t remember. Almost sure it was though.
I’ve never hauled marble, this load freaks me out.
Did anyone have any problems with this load?

@@choicemas yes, sir. I appreciate your reply and advice! Will try to grab a load next chance I get.
Fire as always yo brother hit me up
I appreciate it. 💯👊 I’m not sure who this is, so I wouldn’t be able to hit you up. Email me choicemas@gmail.com and I will for sure. 👍
