1) How are you using copy/paste across multiple machines?
2) I noticed your folder names in vMix and wondered how you built your PiPs for shows and if you were using multiple mixes to achieve this? (I’m sure this is a whole videos worth and possibly already planned!)

Have you tried with multiple solos simultaneous? I am thinking about it to do REMI and I wonder if anyone tried it. My guess is even if it has some delay it wouldn´t be that much would it?
Castr is mandatory? there is no connections directly between LiveSolo Pro and vMix or OBS knowing that both has enoceder and decoder for RPTM and SRT? please
Very interesting. I've seen that Castr also offers SRT in addition to RTMP pull. Worth the try. Also, RTMPminiserver claims that they achieve lowest latency possible because there is no need to RTMP pull from Vmix, because they output NDI.
Thanks. Castr SRT is Ingest only at the moment. Works well for that. I find that RTMPminiserver is not a great deal faster, also requires more configuration in the studio. However is a great peice of software if you need mulitple RTMP in and happy to play with your network. This way, just works and is great if you just want to get a feed in from somewhere and you already have a castr or retream account.

Restream no. Castr, depends on you account. I can have 5 with my castr account. If doing a lot, it may be worth looking at hosted like rtmpminiserver solution at the studio depending on what you setup is.

I use RTMP Mini Server. It is about 1.5 - 2sec delay and works really well, just has a bit of a price point that is all :)
If more than one camera. Think sports where one is on game action and the other is on scoreboard with clock, is there a way to sync the two videos up AND keep them synced? Assume I am using 2 kiloviews.
Surely it's pronounced Caster not Castra. As in broadcaster.

Out of interest, what make/model USB modems are you using? I've been using Huawei E3372, but found that O2 sims will not work, whereas Three & EE worked straight off. I put the same O2 sims in my phone and got full bars and fast speeds. Anyone else encountered this anomaly? I use this particular Huawei modem as it has 2 x mini antenna connectors (concealed in the side), which means I can use a Poynting 4G Omni LTE Antenna.

Can u still use bonding while sending rtmp to castr? I thought bonding only works with LRT. Thanks
Yes. LRT is between the solo and the liveU server. The link to the destination you choose in the liveU Web interface is not a bonded signal anyway.
Is this usable for IRL streaming?
How did you setup your D300 to accept an rtmp stream from Castr?
The problem with the Pull link is that it is very flakey. You need a solid signal. If you are in a poor signal area it will die very easily. What I do is stream to Castr and then out to Twitch. Then I bring Twitch in to vMix as a browser source. The delay is more obviously but it's actually far more reliable.
Solid signal where. If you are pulling into your broadcast vmix system, surley you are on a quality Internet connection. Castr now provide SRT pulls which are solid. I have never had a pull drop, and I have done over 300 at a time with castr. Perhaps we have our wires crossed, but the idea of this is to bring in a liveu solo feed into your production. Why would you go from liveu, to castr, then to twice and then bring that in? At least bypass castr. What you are suggesting is used when sending your tx encode to twitch.
@@Streamingtech Yes, it's true, I could set up rtmp in the LiveU portal direct to Twitch rather than Castr, and then bring Twitch in to vMix. But my point is that Twitch seems to hold the picture better than a direct pull into vMix. I'm sure I've not done 300 live stream broadcasts with the Live U, but I've done enough to know what works for me.

Hi yes, you can. Use the media input and switch of local and paste in the url. With castr you can now use SRT or RTMP pulls
I'm looking on the Castra website and I can't see which account you need to achieve RTMP Pulldown? Can you advise please?
I believe they all have rtmp and set pulldown. There is a limit of about 4-5 simultaneous pulldowns on the lower cost accounts. Their online chat is very helpful.

Great video. Can you bond up to 4 connections with the standard LET connection or do you need to buy and additional data bundle. Saw some videos suggesting this was the case?
You can bond them with LRT connection. You can buy Solo Connect data plan if you wish.
LiveU Solo+ can offer you aggregation of two internal modems, two external modems via USB, one WiFI and one Ethernet connection in the same time with LRT. In total 6 uplinks. It is the same hardware like in LU200 platform but the software is different. Also for a test and production you can make your own server based on Nginx and RTMP module which works perfectly fine even for a re-streaming.
Can you connect to OBS too?
Hi. Yes you can. Any application that supports and RTMP, or now SRT pull down feed will work. OBS supports both. Castr now supports SRT so I would use that to pull down rather than RTMP as it's more reliable.

@@Streamingtech Thanks for taking the time to answer. I already have the Live U Solo + so in this scenario does it matter which Kiloview I might use? I have a Tricaster SDI so having the receiving end of the RTMP as an SDI would be a huge advantage. I see the E1 makes SDI to NDI so that's probably not appropriate, other than the 4k option is the D300 worth the extra over the D230 (in your opinion)?
Hi. At the moment, there is not much difference. But if you can get the d300 then you get the 4k option out of the hdmi. It has a bit more processing power. But for HD 230 is fine.
U need internet connection for receiving ..? right?Live u is most used in the remote areas where u don't have lan connection to send your stream.Why don't u use a capture card to get your feed in to vmix?And why i will use live u if i have good internet connection?any special cause need to know..
Hi.. Errr you would use the liveU to receive a camera that is remote! Ie in the field back to your studio. Not for local cameras :)

Audio sync issue was a liveu bug. Ask liveU to upgrade your firmware, its been fixed.
Need one of those for getting guests into OBS?

You may give some delay to input on vMix. It's what we are doing on our studio and it's working well.
