    Just here after hearing his retirement due to health reasons. Man o man. What a great career...

    This game and game one of this series are my two favourite LaMarcus Aldridge games! I really hope he stays as a Blazer, re watching these two games remind me more of how good he can be when he is fully healthy. I love this Portland vs Houston series :)

    Aldridge was such a beast, he was so dominate this whole series and put up double digits in the first two games, one of the last few legit power forwards with a solid defensive game, good post game and underrated mid range game.
    Wishing him well in retirement 🙏

  • @liamkeaney503
    @liamkeaney503 10 месяцев назад +2

    This is the most masterful display of mid-range ability I’ve seen. Even better than LeBron in 2018 Game 2 vs the Raptors

  • @c22to

    Aldridge is so underrated its unbelievable. He may end up being a top 5 power forward of all time by the end of his career, hopefully.

    • @mandunya
      @mandunya 8 лет назад

      When this series was going on, even the year after, he was rated #1 PF in the league.

      Amgad Ragab ESPN, i remember seeing it cuz he's my fav PF

  • @dili8811
    @dili8811 10 лет назад +18

    And this is why he is THE BEST PF IN THE NBA. Sorry Kevin Love and Blake Griffin, but LMA can create his own shot in front of anybody, he takes AND makes some of the toughest shots on the whole league. Post game, pick and pop, deadly fadeaway from the post over 7 footers, and one of the best (if not the best) mid range games in the league today. Unlike Kevin Love LaMarcus IS a true 1st offensive option

      The game is much more than just scoring...love rebounds , defends and scores

    • @K08eBryant24
      @K08eBryant24 10 лет назад +10

      Mira Cool He plays just as well D and grabs rebounds as well

    • @Deadlygangsta
      @Deadlygangsta 10 лет назад +6

      Mira Cool You just said Kevin Love defends. His defensive rating is 104 which is same as Aldridge. Aldridge gets 10+ rebounds. Scores. They pretty much do the same things, even shoot poorly. Neither of them is best PF. Tim Duncan is still better than all the PF's just by owning everybody with his fundamentals. He even plays better defense at this age, 98 defensive rating with 4.6 defensive win shares.

    LaMarcus is the only player to score 40+ points back to back on a road games at the Playoffs - other than Tracy McGrady and My man, Michael Jordan.
    LeBron also achieved the same feat back in 2009 as a Cavalier, however, both games were held at their home court. Still impressive.

      123rockstar2010 I thought the Big O in like 1964 and LAMARCUS were the only ones to go back to back 40+ points on the rd in the playoffs BUT WIN> THEY WON the games in which it happened. Lamarcus was the first in 50 years.

    • @alexiscando5709
      @alexiscando5709 4 года назад

      Actually no, Lebron had back to back 40 point games on the road against the Magic in ECF... Ironically, all 40+ point games Lebron have in that series against the Magic ended up with an L

    If the Spurs get this type of production from Aldridge in the playoffs, there is no way any team is going to beat them 4 times.

    • @vinniechan
      @vinniechan 9 лет назад +1

      gorrow1990
      Aldridge doesnt need to produce this type of production. If the Spurs system works his volume will go down because he doesnt need to carry the team but his percentages will go up because he gets easier looks
