Today, we will be going to visit 2 highly rated fish and chips shops in Singapore.
Let me know in the comments which other fish and chips shops is better?
Or even perhaps japanese food? (my favourite)

Big Fish and Small Fish not bad too.
o.0 I always walk past it but haven't really tried it :P Will take a look at it :)
@@Otamacouplefor you locals maybe you get fish and chips
For a tourist they are going to want hawker centres
@@DW-op7ly Hmm, maybe we should create a hawker version
I went to Smith today after watching this video and some online review. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations.
The chips were disappointing, soft and seemingly made with overused oil, which affected their quality. While the fish was decent, I would rate it a 6/10 compared to other fish and chips available in Singapore. However, if I compare it to my experiences during travel, I would rate it a 3/10.
The boss was extremely friendly though and we had very good experience in the service.
Hi, sorry to hear about your experience with the food.
Which other fish and chips stall do you recommend? We would really want to try it out :P
The owner was dancing to the music when we were at the shop; very friendly indeed.
Not sure why I was recommended this video but I thought I'd leave a comment.
The whole concept of fish and chips in Singapore is hilarious but the quality of the food in both places looks great.
Portions look tiny especially for the price though. 😢
Thanks for leaving a comment :) Really appreciate it.
At first I thought it wouldn't be filling, but trust me, I was really full after.
Just wondering what the small portion of the Smith Fish and Chips will look like :p
@@Otamacouple It's about half the size of what you'd normally get in Scotland for double the price!
One more thing, is that really how people use cutlery in Singapore?
@@ShunShufenWow, never been to Scotland but I believe in Western countries it’s bigger portion. Previously, when I stayed in New Zealand, the portions are huge!
We are holding the cutleries wrongly. Haha, not all Singaporeans hold it like that :x
$30 for fish and chips? Wow..
Yes, pricey but it’s mainly at the orchard and newton districts. It’s my first time trying such an expensive fish and chips too.
There isn’t any good, authentic fish and chips in Singapore. The nearest place where I can get my fish and chips fix is actually in Genting Highlands at The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden.
Oh I heard of the fish and chips shops in genting! I wanted to try that when I was there a few months back :p Will try it when I am there next time.
