- Cold start and easy going start. This Track is still being run-in so the rpm is higher than normal. Soon this will change.
On the part after this movie i noticed the turbo kicking in around 60km/hr.

I like the diesel concept. It can be fueled by a wide variety of vegetable products, even alga, which can be grown using sun power and those are non polluting.
Besides that, the diesel is an awesome source of torque and they last much longer than the average gasoline engine.

it sounds exactly like the Smart CDI. Is that the same engine?
Yes it is. A slightly modified smart cdi engine.

It is like a vespa automatic. But with a lot more torque. The vibration are in my case only noticable when it's winter cold. And at idle. Warmup is untill i see hot coolant going to the radiator. Ussually 15 mins time. So i try not to rev it too much (which is directly related to the amount of power you put on the engine thanks to the cvt). After that it basically as hot as it needs to be. But i think it get's really nice to ride after about an hour.
I'm in italy and it'd be a long trip to holland to try this bike. I'm amazed about the mileage and looks. It's kinda "strange" the automatic feeling and the "rattling" noise:
2 questions: is it shaky? (diesel engines shake more than the petrol ones) and how much time the warmup procedure takes? can you make a video while you start normally your bike like a normal commute day thanks for your reply
I currently am pretty happy with it's ride. But i had to change quite a few things to get that feeling. ;) I should make a new movie from the same point of view as this someday soon.
at what reference does the bike reaches 60kph? and i don't hear the gears change is it Automatic
I love CVT's. Had one on my goped and it would get my ass up a hill or top out at 45 mph with no effort. Audi tried selling cars with them and installed jerking points to simulate the gear changes as people dont like the smooth transition idk why :/

@jowes90 @ 2:40 aprox i'm doing 60kph. Engine still being cold. And around 11:10 aswell with the engine being warmer. I accelerate a bit further there.
It's an automatic alright. Belt drive cvt. check dieselmotorfiets.nl
