man, I've watched your content recently, and your "How to" videos are very helpful. Unlike other "How to" videos, you show us "why" and "how", that's why I'm subscribing!
This is a VERY good trap, definitely one of the better ones that I've seen on yt (probably even the best). But there is just 1 problem, this is Minecraft :) and there is always a way to escape, like getting a nether stasis chamber (yes that's possible, just not a lot of people know about this). logging off, and asking a friend to pull it when you log back on or use a cat detector that detects when you relog and automatically pulls it. (I always have that enabled on the smp that I play on.) You can also fly up against the bedrock, and pearl glitch up. The stasis chamber method can be patched by having this be on a 1.18 papermc server (cuz unloaded pearls disappear on paper.), but that also patches bedrock breaking so the trap wouldn't be possible anyways. But for the casual player (/non-prison-maker/escapist that spends too much time learning mc mechanics :) ), this is basically perfect. Also, this video is SOOOO good and I absolutely love it. I really hope you blow up one day cuz you really deserve it.

here’s an insane trap idea make it so their chest is rigged to explode the floor with hundreds of tnt minecarts then there is a perfect amount of stone so the tnt minecarts destroy it then they fall into the piston pushing trap, putting them into a 1x1x1 hole with minecarts and tnt make a detection system to drop them into the void if they get out on top of it, put a second chamber that if they use a chorus fruit, they teleport into it, and it drops a bunch of drip stone on them, followed by tnt minecarts and harming II potions this will kill anyone unless they pearl out fast enough at the start to fix the pearling, add a 0 tick slime block+honey block flying machine to block the exit with ancient debris fill the surrounding area with water and the ground with slabs
1. You missed a possibility: potions. Harming 2 potions+armor stands are very lethal. 2. Nether based enderpearl stasis chambers exist, one using slime to bounce the pearl up and one using slime to launch a pearl through a portal from a regular stasis chamber. The second of which is one I came up with myself and probably isn't public, but still.
I designed a trap where a chest has bait and when a person takes it out, the comparator activates tnt and also a stasis so you don't die. Also the status is helpful so that they trust you to go in the room with you
I have a good trap for all of you, if your target is collection wood, mine out a space below the tree, put a button on the bottom log and a pressure plate below (so when the bottom log is broken it fall and activates the pressure plate, connect the pressure plate to about 20 tnt Minecraft on rails and it’ll explode instantly
a very unconcventional way is to use minecarts with a speed tag of NaN(Not a number). This minecart would be counted by the game as falling forever, so if a block is placed below it, the player inside would receive damage equivalent to falling for the time the minecart has been placed. You can make such minecart using entity pushing mechanics, and you would use bubble collums and snow layers to clip this minecart into a block you suspect the victim would right click, making the hitbox of the cart extending beyond the block, but the texture is not seen. You sould then use a pufferfish player detector to activate a piston below the player, inducing fall damage.
someone goes through a portal then the person in the nether uses beds, tnt minecarts, or end crystals to kill them. The person in the portal also cant do much before they are blown up since they are portal trapped.

The simplest end portal trap is putting stalactite through the portal, which won't load until somebody goes through, and dies
wrong. they can put anything through and the trap is then useless.
