The Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording will be released digitally by Walt Disney Records on Friday, May 11, 2018. The physical album will be available on Friday, June 8, 2018. The album is produced by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Stephen Oremus, Dave Metzger and Chris Montan.

I have to say, the guy playing Olaf has a perfect voice for the character, he actually sounds almost like Josh Gad.
And can we just talk about how Patti Murin IS Anna? I mean you just look at her talking and you immediately think of Anna. Or is it just me?

This casting is absolutely perfect. I feel like I’m really watching Elsa when Caissie speaks, Patti and Jelani are just wonderful, John looks exactly like Hans, and Greg!! I’m not sure if that’s Greg singing or Josh Gad!! Everyone involved with this musical is fantastic. Good job to everybody!!❤️
I wish that I could have actually heard "True Love" when I saw the show. There was a kid screaming the whole time, but props to Patti Murin for continuing her (I'm sure) lovely performance despite it.

Ali Y because people are dumb. Remember that whole thing about people bringing their kids to watch *Deadpool* ?! That's *Deadpool* . It's a superhero, yes, but wayy too R-rated. If people can do that, they would always bring their kids to watch something that *seems* like it could be fine for their kids to watch.
It really annoys me when people bring young choldren to two hour shows like frozen. It just ruins the whole show sometimes. If your kid is younger than 6 maybe think twice about bringing them

True Love is my favorite song in this entire album!!! It is sung so beautifully and gives such a well rounded to side to Anna’s character.

You'll hire extra instruments for Frozen but you have no budget for chorus members for a production of Hunchback?
extra instruments for a one time recording of the cast album (and then going back to the regular sized orchestra for the live shows) is a lot different than an extended chorus for ALL shows AND cast album :) plus i love Hunchback Of Notre Dame with all my heart, but lets be real, it didn't earn that much and wouldn't really pay for the extended chorus lol

Saw Frozen in June……AMAZING! Bigger and better than any movie and the special effects are startling. Love Caissie and Patti, and Sven is astonishing! Tremendous show. You should hear the ovation.
I would love to hear what that ovation sounds like! Sven is amazing, I agree. Andrew Pirozzi and Adam Jepsen have such respect for Sven the puppet, it's really neat to see in BTS videos.

THE ENTIRE THING IS AMAZING! I saw the show on January 4th, 2020, my birthday, and was so bummed out that BOTH Caissie Levy AND Patti Murin were not performing...don't get me wrong - their understudies were amazing also - but I was really looking forward to seeing the two of them! I sing also - and Monster is my go-to for anytime I need to sing a song from Broadway, and Colder by the Minute is just the most amazing song EVER!!! I get chills every time - and I get choked up every time I hear "Where is my sister, where is Anna?" Amazing cast, amazing writing, amazing show! I live in NYC, and I am SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED that Frozen is NOT COMING BACK TO BROADWAY...so sad...I really wanted to see it again...maybe even audition for it?? Anyway - EVERY PERSON IN THAT CAST IS AMAZING, and I don't even know what to say to Kristen and Bobby Lopez - there isn't a song from any version of Frozen that I don't love! You are an amazing team and you really know how to pull out "all the feels"!! Please come back to Broadway!!!!

They added 12 new songs after they were in Denver
Kelly DeBardelaben most of the new songs for the Broadway version of Frozen were already included in the Denver tryouts. However, a couple of songs were cut whilst the musical was being refined for Broadway, and one of these (A new song for Olaf called 'When Everything Falls Apart') will be included on the cast recording as a bonus track...

Victor G. Retterath 'When Everything Falls Apart was cut, but the fact it has been included as a bonus track on the CD means you can listen to it to your heart's content. The opening and closing songs of the musical have also been heavily altered, and the second-act reprise of Hans's theme song was cut. Apparently, this reprise was a full-on villain song, which Hans sings whilst betraying Anna and gloating about his nefarious plans. If that's the case, I am really disappointed we won't be able to hear it...
