D.J. Had the best year of his career with Fields. They had the highest QB WR rating in the league when he target DJ. Moore’s numbers went down with Bagent. The TE Kmet also had tge best year of his career last year. If Fields stayed healthy his numbers wouldve been way better

Fields had DJ Moore. And Dj Moore had a fantastic year and put up the fourth most yardage of a Bears REC in history.

I would like to start by saying I listen every week and I love hearing you guys and your input on the Steelers. I am BEYOND excited for this season to start. We beefed up the offensive line, picked up 2 solid linebackers in Wilson and Queen, this QB room WILL cook with the weapons we have. 🔥 Even if we don’t go fetch a big time WR, don’t forget in a play action we have Muth, Washington, and now Roman Wilson, Russ is going to shine HERE WE GO 🖤💛 shout me out Moats 😁🍻
I think GP’s production will go down bc we don’t have a set WR2. Field’s legs could help everyone on offense

Wilson is more likely to stand in the pocket and make the throws. Fields has the ability to extend plays but you usually cut off half the field while scrambling. The O-line will dictate which guy will make the team better. We should not be trying to please GP. Winning the Super Bowl takes an entire team and contributions from all three units. It's ALL about the W. If we start trying to please an individual, we'll be HIGHLY disappointed when January gets here as our team will once again be watching and wondering.
Fields , I don’t think has the ball placement that Russ will. I hope I’m wrong because they obviously are intending to invest in him in the future.
I’m leaning Russ. Over the years the player you have to have more hope for tends to be the problem. Fields is an animal but there’s a lot of “if he can” or “I hope he will” and we just did that for years with Kenny/Mason.
Russ is not flashy but we know what that is and we probably need that the most this season.

The obvious answer is Russell Wilson. NINE Pro Bowls, TWO NFC Championships, ONE Super Bowl… Wilson knows how to complement a TOP receiver, like Lockett and Metcalf in Seattle…
At Denver, Sutton had FOURTEEN Touchdowns in four seasons prior to Wilson, and TWELVE Touchdowns with Wilson. Also Jeudy had THREE his first Two Seasons, and EIGHT his final Two with Wilson…
With Fields, he is more likely to run than throw, trying to be more like Lamar Jackson, or a Cam Newton, or Mike Vick type…

How hasn’t GP not lived up to what he’s capable of when he had to play w 3 QBs last year, Tha worse OC in football, and a shot O line. He still managed to get 1100 yrds off less than 65 catches. HES SHOWN WHAT HE CAN BE IN THIS LEAGUE AND THATS a TOP 8 WR

Dont buy into this 'Fields cant throw ' narrative perpetuated by the mainstream media. He had leage top stats with DJ Moore last year, while the rest of the receivers put up leading numbers in dropped passes. Advanced metrics (i.e. adjusted PR, QBR while under pressure etc.) show that he was actually one of the top 10 throwers last year (behind a 29th ranked O-line). He has other things he needs to work on, but give him time in the pocket, he will put the ball EXACTLY where he wants it to be

You want pieces to fit together and special players elevated. But GP has to prove it to me. He has monumental splash plays and some good route running days. I want to see consistency. Because right now all I see is a young OBJ. OBJ had 5 great years. GP has had one pretty good year. It wasn't all on him. But for me its what are you doing now. Last year was a throw away year for us. It really irritates me MT let it get that far with Canada. But back to GP. I want to see blocking. I want to see him dominate. If he cries again with either QB we got I want him traded. No more drama. Im tired of it. Tired of the "me" players. Tired of excuses really. Out of everybody. You have the world's greatest football player in TJ. Stop goofing off and play.

It drives me crazy about how people keep saying how dynamic Fields is , but he's never thrown more than 20 td passes in a season. Running qbs don't win in the playoffs ( ask Lamar Jackson).
You don't watch Football, do you? Running Mobile Quarterbacks are the STANDARD in the NFL. I would invite you to Google You-Tube and watch some of Justin Fields Games. Start with Ohio State University, then the Chicago Bears. Justin Fields has ELITE-GOD-GIVEN-TALENT. Justin has Lightening Speed. He has a Strong Arm too! He throws beautiful Down-the-Field Passes into the End Zone.
Running Quarterbacks don't win in the Playoffs? Really? Is that what you think? Patrick Mahomes made Two-Runs in the Super Bowl that made the difference and won. Defenses are DESTROYING Quarterbacks who "sit in the pocket." If you really watched Football, you would know that.
