Would the Depths not be better than Ancient Isles? Not only do you have 3 consistently gotten mythicals but also good legendaries. It also can get the Exotic when the Dark Event in the depths happen.
theres also the cave in snowcap island because there's good chance for colossal squid, and moon wood is common there, plus, when you sell it you get 450 which is good for grinding.

For me the best place to farm for levels is The Dephts, like that place is actually good, you can get mythicals and legendaries pretty often

You should use a rod that can hold 15 kg cause cause the mosausourus weighs around 10kg+
You need luck boost or else the ancient isle spot is mid the mythicals are good and worth a lot but without luck boost you will rarely pull them
