I hit 1.2K streams and 106 monthly listeners, after two weeks, yesterday. I was screaming like little child. These were my two first goals. I am blessed to have reached them already! I know I wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for good marketing as well and such good people around me. I will definitely keep on going and trying to excel my craft. I gotta admit I am a little anxious if I can be consistent in the level of my art! But I have to try there is no other option !
Remember, not every song can be good. The bad songs are only pencil sharpeners. Continue to push yourself with this in mind and I’m sure you’ll be able to keep that consistent level with your art.

This was really motivating and I'm happy to say, after a month of being out I hit 1000 streams! I've worked on a single song, it's a bit different than what people usually listen to so I'm just glad someone liked it.

These are very sound advice, even though the video is from november 2019. One of the things I have started doing is to curate a few playlists. There's not a whole lot of activity, but there is more than there used to be, which is good. It has also helped in increasing my presence in social media and more importantly, it got me more followers on Spotify. Keep the good advice coming Burstimo. Thank you for all your valuable input.

I just wanted artists to know that it's ok to not have thousands of streams. It's actually weird to have thousands of streams. Think about the quality of each stream rather than the quantity then suddenly the numbers start looking after themselves!
