Haha. I would expect that kind of serve from Jay, but Ethan has some gall, and I like it.

ethan has a consistency problem with big forehand shots. If he can improve that he will double his points in the game.

His forehand looks a lot more consistent when he's playing people at his own level, let's not take anything away from what weird stuff Jay is doing to the balls, the guy has amazing feel.

u probably only look at top pros play so now when you see mid tier pros they don't look amazing.

@@epic1053 I have seen many amateur players with better game. Some of the FH errors are pretty sad. Are these really pros?

@@jwxujerry record them playing and then we will talk probably the people you are seeing in person are not as good as you think.
Everyone is shocked by how bad they look when they see a recording of themselves.
Some people do look better than they are because they don't win many points from serve and while they have good technique their placement is terrible and they play very predictable.
It's much harder to appreciate someone who wins lots of points off of deception, changing the pace, and playing to their opponent's weakness.
But having said that 90 percent chance it's the first thing I mentioned.

They seem to be good players but both made so many errors which is not fun to watch. Perhaps they're too ambitious.

That’s fair, but I had fun watching it. I think it’s interesting given it’s their first time playing each other, Jay has a pretty unique style and some really nasty serves which can be trouble for people to get used to.

Some of the worst table tennis from a spectator's POV.
