Where ignorance is bliss, it's folly to be wise. Lady you need to educate yourself about mental health. I'm glad you're not in the healthcare profession. It pains my heart to see people suffer like that. I'm not Jamaican neither am I rich but I wished I was rich to help ppl there. I hope he gets the help he's needed.
I myself can’t believe the lady whose helping him is taking it serious I’ve dealt with mentally ill people I’ve dealt with people with TBI / Traumatic Brain Injury and trust me if I was to take the things they say and do I would be prison the morgue or facing millions in law suits . Mentally I’ll person cannot be held responsible for what the say or do . Most elderly people should not be treated as if they’re being rude it’s has to do with age so please lady stop taking miss Joyce and her grandson’s behavior so serious

Kino he is mentally challenged my grandson is just like him you have to understand them they don’t like doctor or taking medication they will have to put it in their medication take him to the hospital my grandson was referred to windward road health center for his monthly checks or you could let them visit him at home he would get his medication and and injection monthly that is what I did sorry I am not in Jamaica at this time

They say, " When you know better, you do better....ex..my mother has dementia, sometimes she thinks rational...other times she behaves badly....her husband gets angry with her when she acts badly because he doesn't understand that is what the disease does even when we explained it to him .

Sue, Bigga's denial that he doesn't need help is a regular response from persons with that condition. And, yes, they recognize/remember faces thus his ability to pinpoint that you were involved in with him getting treatment. He's delusional. He's convinced your intention is to do harm and not good. Can't the senior citizen center in TT assist Ms Joyce? She needs to be looked after and here it seems that she is taking care of Bigger and herself. They both need help STAT! Agree with you sovilia, but she also said that when he was healthy, he was very disrespectful, refused to take his medication 💊, cursed her out and acting like he wasn’t a sick person. Just remember that she was doing her best to help him and then he turned on her. Now who does he have? Grandma!!! She needs some much needed help just like he does and even more 🥲🥲🥲🙃the part about refusing to take his medication 💊 is what really got to me. In order to be stable and live a normal life just like anybody, he should be in compliance, not the opposite!

Please you need to know he’s not in a mental clarity when she took him to the hospital so of course he’s going to probably look at you a little differently getting injected and medicated not realize u were helping him so he’s feeling normal now by the way of medicated pills cause when it comes to Jamaica on mental health is one cap fits all and lot of Jamaican people seems to see it that way when it shouldn’t be like that. And he easing is self off the medication not k owing from once he got the injection and medication more often they won’t come back to function normally without it. And that led him to went to the state he’s at now.
You can’t pre someone that doesn’t realize he’s operating off medication to let him feel like is self consciously when he sit on meditate on come in is self he’s going to look damn I ofto take these for is life to operate some what normal. So it get to him not realize that what know how to do by get him help. Never should turn your back on someone cause when he was working g he doesn’t look at you etc. is not in is normal state of mind like he’s on a. Stretch and if that battery don’t charge it with ran out. Is not every person needed to go to the Bellevue hospital for Mental health it’s sad the way Jamaica on Jamaican treats mental health ..

Pills don't work for some. Ask the doctor at the hospital about the monthly injection. For some you might have to restrain/bully them to take it initially but after continued treatment they usually start to improve. I have a relative you is living this. The Ministry of Health sends a mobile unit monthly to find him and others to administer the meds. Of note, when he's off his medicine he eats nothing from anyone not even biscuit, whether you're family or friend. It's a long road, but with support it's possible. It's important he makes it to all his appointments. The injection is free at the hospital.

There is no demon in the young man, he has a brain imbalance possibly caused by stress from the situation he and his grandmother is living in and the fact that he's not working. He is a decent young man and he is proud .

Sue, please remember that he has mental health issues and he may have seem ok to you, but he is not normal due to his mental status. Please , i am asking you to forgive him if he didn't say anything to you when he passed you by . Schizophrenia , bipolar depression and other mental illness or not easy to manage if he is not taking his medications. Unfortunately, he will have many more of these mental episodes. As a medical professional I am astonished that this young man is not in a medical facility getting treatment for his mental and physical illness. Showing him to the world in this manner is negligent. Get the man to the hospital or have your donors donate to medical care for him. Standing around telling stories is not helping him. He seems seriously dehydrated and may possibly need iv intervention.
