A new year into the future, what used to look so far away once upon a time. Everyday we are living history and i hope 2024 will be the best 2024 it can for everyone who reads this ❤
I will never forget the year I was there in Times Square yes it is a mess but it is an unforgettable experience I would not trade those 15 or 16 hours of standing for anything --- probably not going to repeat it but won't ever forget it --- it was magical.

i just realized they did something similar to what they did in the mid-late 60's by displaying the new year's numerals on the long billboard under the countdown screen
I remember that in 2008 no one had their phone out and enjoying life, meanwhile in 2024 everyone has their phone out. Note: the first iPhone was made in 2007 so don’t say that the iPhone was not made yet
Man, back when Discover card and even Toshiba sponsored the Times Square One tower, the countdown and fireworks looked way way better...ever since Kia got control of it in 2018 the countdown just wasn't the same. I hope the next company that sponsors it in 2028/29 is better.
People spending more time about filming it and sharing it on the internet than enjoying the countdown and into the new year. not what it was 20 years ago.
