I must admit, at 26:00, I was playing a Roblox game About the ball dropping, *AND HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE IN AT ONCE THE GAME WAS LITERALLY LAGGING.* Let me give you a breakdown of what happened: When the timer started, I expected the ball to move freely down the pole, Nope, there were too many people at once and the game was lagging, Once the timer hit "00" The ball dropped literally instantly, *Seriously, It was to celebrate 2022 anyways.* Now for 2023, *NO,* as 2023 was the worst year of my life, It actually felt like 2020 all over again, I'm kinda glad 2023 and 2020 are gone, I just really don't know what to say at this point. I must admit, at 26:00, I was playing a Roblox game About the ball dropping, *AND HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE IN AT ONCE THE GAME WAS LITERALLY LAGGING.* Let me give you a breakdown of what happened:
When the timer started, I expected the ball to move freely down the pole, Nope, there were too many people at once and the game was lagging, Once the timer hit "00" The ball dropped literally instantly, *Seriously, It was to celebrate 2022 anyways.*
Now for 2023, *NO,* as 2023 was the worst year of my life, It actually felt like 2020 all over again, I'm kinda glad 2023 and 2020 are gone, I just really don't know what to say at this point.
For 2024, I wasn't playing a Roblox NYE Ball Drop game, I was recording the TV, Then my knuckles hit the ceiling *4 TIMES* in a row, i think, i'm not sure,
*Anyways, i'm very sorry that this comment was extremely long and off topic, I was just giving a breakdown of what happened that year and etc.*

In January 1972 i was a one week old newborn
Life was so much better back then
6:06 every time I see a ball drop history, I end up seeing my find
It's a pleasure changing the community, i've been retired from Ball Drop content since 2022, but I may end up returning on my other channel. Thanks for showing my find!
Yes, I am actually the one who found the drop :)
Happy new year from Washington state! It’s currently 10:56 PM as I’m writing this comment.

We have been staying up to watch the New Year's Eve celebration every year for many years and it has been a lot of fun most years and a little bit sad some years. However, the last few years, they haven't been showing the ball coming down when they would count down to midnight like tbey used to.😊😊
I wonder if Philip J Fry got to see the ball drop in 1999 before he got cryogenically frozen into the year 3000

Fun Fact, they had color exactly on January 1, 1970. I found a new years ball drop 1970 footage and there was a glitch with the tape, that's when they started having color, this is what I think
