Tips:
Arrive early to secure a spot
Stay next to barricade to hold on to
Wear diaper
Bring food and water (hard boiled eggs, bread. Better to add electrolyte in the water)
Bundle up in layers/waterproof puffer
Extra powerbank
I'm planning to wear diaper also hahaha
Imagine suffering through this to celebrate the start of 2020 😂
Why would anybody ever wanna put themselves through this incredibly painful, uncomfortable, inconvenient and sad experience for 2 minutes of confetti is something I will never understand.
Tell my girlfriend 🙄 I have to go thru it this year 😮💨
Good luck it's horrible @@papanonstoppa9686
Because humanity is stupid!
@@papanonstoppa9686 Are you actually going through with it?
@@Atayfordays hell nah 😂😂 we went at 2pm bro and people were already lined up around cirlces. Did some work and snuck in the police gates by telling them we got a hotle in Times Square. Nice ass clear view but we got tired at like at 6
Okay this year I plan to be there early as well. Thank you so much for the awesome video 😊
I’m going to the ball drop tomorrow, and I’m excited. It’s my very first time ever going to see the ball drop in person. That’s why I’m watching this. Thanks for the tips! 👍
Good luck! I heard its dangerous lol
@@rocky.rocks1445 it can be. But with the NYPD, it will be safe! Trust me, I’m a New Yorker!
@@streetspitzley5854how was it my friend?? I’m going this year and excited but nervous lol
@@papanonstoppa9686 it was fun. Despite the challenges I had to face, it was fun. The more fun you have the better. Think of anything that makes you happy during the wait
I was there for the last one. Absolute shit show to get in . Chaos
Wow. You stayed outside over 14 hours. I wouldn’t survive. I remember going there over 25 years ago in my early 20’s and it was chaos. Police and people fighting. Never again, but great video.
I love this!!,
Hi francis! Nice video!
Such a emotional video ❤
Great insight! 🎉
Its a good one time experience as long as you get a really good spot..
Little did we all know at the time that 2020 would be one of the darkest years ever. Coronavirus
Its crazily insane
Thanks for the Video

Gonna be a great year. I can already tell.
If we reach there 13:30 can we get closer??
Best area to view it ?
Godbless
Does anyone know how to be the ones to get up by the stage????
Wondering the same! Like do they get there the day before?!
Get there very early!
Omg! I thought getting there at 8:30 you’d be in the front. I wonder what time the people in the front get there
I have seen the local NYC news(I live here) on NYE. People start arriving at/before 7am!
Hey Wondering, Do you get cab or subway easily while returning from balldrop event easily?
Best would be to take the subway.
Not very many people over the age of 55.
any ubers available after? We might leave our car in NJ.
You would need to walk away from the area and probably expect to pay surge pricing.
Wait so did y'all not use the bathroom this entire time you were there?
Nope there are 0 bathrooms lol
Lol isn’t that crazy.
My bladder would explode. I would wear a diaper and bring a chair.
@@kerynl.sanchez9891cant bring chairs apparently
Is the event free? I wanna go for the 24 new year count down and get some type of merch lol
Absolutely free.
Doesn't look fun at all!
are the sidewalks open?
The streets/sidewalks start to get blocked off as the pens start filling up. So you can't just walk the sidewalk and stand for the ball drop.
I was there last year around 10am but they were not letting anyone in. Yet i had the love feed in times square and saw people. Absolute shit show
2020
Leap year starting on Wednesday
2021st year of the Common Era
21st year of 3rd millennium
(Happy) 21st year of 21st century
And 1st year of (Happy New) 203rd decade
So this was 2020 to 2021???
It was 2019 to 2020
For the 2021 balldrop you had to be tested for Covid-19 in order to get into Times Square
2 diapers?!! 😱
I would only do it from a hotel. Bring a cane-chair and wear a diaper 😂 Can’t imagine how many people pee themselves!
I'm going tomorrow, comment below if you are going too :)
People are stupid waiting for a dumb ball to drop
