Can you hear all the music and does the confetti fall near where you stand, out the front of Knickerbocker?
    Thanks 😊

@@dmeigan2789 hi, I’m sorry to say but no. We aren’t that close, and we have little kids, so this was easier for us. Buy one day I would love to be closer and see the music and confetti. Have a great time if you go.

$1,000?! Holy crap! 😳 These are like survival tips! No food, no bathrooms, sounds like you can only have as much water as you can carry. Staying at the hotel seems like the most comfortable way to do it! Do the hotel rooms cost more on that night than average or were you able to get a deal? Great video!! 💗

Hi Lindsay, I know right! The hotels kitchen was closed to 95% of the hotels guests....crazy! The answer to your question is YES, everything in Time Square is priced much higher during the Christmas and New Years Season. The demand is so high, they can get away with raising prices and still selling out. I took a look at what our room would cost us today (in February) and the cost for one night, 2 queen beds, no additional fancy services and the cost is $178 USD (without taxes). If we wanted to add a roll away bed to the room the price would go up to $252 USD (without taxes). Which really is a great price (keep in mind February is considered the OFF season). So prices do change throughout the year depending on the demand. Thank you so much for all your support and watching my videos :) Robin

These tips are perfect! We are traveling from Australia for New Years next year. Can I ask, are there any other places to stay where you can just walk straight out the front door? We are going to do this and will now possibly stay at the Knickerbocker for this reason, however just checking if there are any other Hotels??
    Thanks 😃

Hi Danae, ohh I’m so glad to hear that this helps. There is one hotel right next to the Knickerbocker Hotel, called Hilton Garden Inn , and then the rest are business buildings. I hope you have a wonderful time! 😊

Could you see the actual ball drop from the street when you went down at 11pm?

Hi, if you watch the video you can see us go down to the corner, and if we look up, yes we can see it. And count down as it drops. But it’s really high up on a building so it’s not like watching it on TV. Also we don’t see the large crowds from the corner we are on. If you have specific questions, you can always call the concierge at the hotel you are staying at. But in the video I show you exactly what we saw. Have a wonderful time & Happy New Year!

I'm staying at a hotel on 45th st, 2 blocks away from 7th av. When it gets close to midnight, will I be able to walk to 7th av to get a view of the ball drop? Or will police most likely be blocking people from going to different blocks?
