Love the podcast . I listen to it while im detailing cars. I started my workout journey and im learning alot. Also i wash cars a private gym and they do ji jitsu so ive got to roll a few times. My wrists are fuckd and i hurt myself everytime but i am hooked
Love the BJJ guests. Mason is the real deal. I've recently come back after a year long break and even though I'm going through the process of getting smashed on the mat, I can't believe how much I've missed the community and camaraderie.
I think it’s something that comes with time, I’ve trained a year, and reflecting on it I am more confident. Bjj tends to keep you humble, but if you compare your fighting ability to a stranger you’ll definitely feel confident. I guess at a certain point, ask yourself why you don’t feel confident, then solve whatever issue that is. Also big difference between confidence and arrogance.
300 hours. Track your hours of training and live rolling, don't go by months or years. Obviously someone who goes 4x a week will have more time than someone training once after six months.
I’ve been training for almost 2 years and I’m going through this again. Honestly at this point it feels like a cycle. You feel good some days and feel like you’re progressing, and then you have days where you don’t feel like you’re getting any better and you suck. Just know while it feels that way that we are still making progress even if it doesn’t feel like it.
Seen your podcast regarding Liver King lately. Crazy how he's been critiziced from you guys for this whole juice thing, selling his supps and so on (despite the fact he's actually promoting a healthy lifestyle) and literally in the first 5 minutes of this podcast you guys are promoting kratom, a substance that is legal, but sure can make you addicted and hard to come off ...
Doing a monthly dose+ of juice on a weekly basis and using the results as a way to scam market supplements sure sounds like peak mental and physical health, wish I was more like him lol
love the bjj content!
Glad ur digging it, we are too!
Love how you’re into bjj so you have bjj guests not many bjj podcasts get world class guests like these so it’s very insightful to listen to
Back here after you won Mason! Awesome work yesterday Congratulations!
Al Bundy have a black belt in bjj
Have Craig Jones in next. He’s got a new diet
This pod is fire. Made me a bigger mason fan fs

If you're reading this, go check out your local BJJ gym (avoid Gracie Barra unless that's the only one).
Excellent jiujitsu podcast. Big fan of Mason Fowler. Keep them coming! Subbed
Yessss more bjj
I am the most mellow/relaxed after a morning/evening of training, or i am running through what i fucked up on at every red light i stop at.

Great interview, enjoyed listening 👍
Really solid questions!
How long does it take to get this JIu Jitsu confidence 😅
I've been training for a solid 6 months and I don't feel any different lmao
