Is it same Stitch count for chunky yarns... Please let me know I have started doing mine so relaxing ❤this was the best vedio tutorial i ever seen.. IAM searching for lomg time for the perfect tutorials... Thanks very much 😻
Do you mind sharing the TEX of the yarn you used in this video? I live in Brazil , my english is not perfect, but this kind of information helps when choosing a simmilar type of yarn to use... THANK YOU, LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 💛💛💛😘
Thank you for supporting me!!💜 I’m not sure what you mean by TEX, but you can find information about the yarn I used in the description. Also, you can use any yarn for this! It doesn’t have to be exactly like mine🫶
The reason your stitches are tight is probably because your tension is too tight. Try loosening your tension or sizing up your hook! I prefer cotton for crochet clothing
@GrannyGaia Nice! And what would I do to make any adjustments to bust and waist measurements since I would be making a dress? I'm also going to use 4ply yarn or Aran😊
@@tabithathewholistic Since the slip stitch blo is very stretchy, you can just follow the same instructions as the top version and the stitches will stretch according to your measurements!
Thank you for your video! I have one question tho, i’d like to make it but with long sleeves, can I just separately do the sleeve then sew it to the arm hole, or is there an easier way?
Hi I would really like to make this, but it would be my first big project, all i ever did before was a headband. I was thinking of adding a second thread of mohair and crocheting with both at the same time. Do you think it would be too difficult for a beginner?
Hi! I think it’s definitely do-able for a beginner since I only really use one stitch throughout the project. But please make sure your tension is loose!! If it’s too tight you will encounter issues
What happens in the cap sleeve if I have only three stitches on each side at the base of the row Do I skip doing one stitch each in the normal row (just before the final 4 stitches), so that I have 4 stitches at the base?
Thank you!💕 Yes you can, but the reason why I used slip stitches is so that the top will be stretchy. So if you use hdc you might struggle to put the top on and take it off, it will also stretch out over time and not be a tight fit!
This is so pretty. 😍 I want to make it just like yours. May I know the name of the shop where you got your yarn from? I'll check if they ship to the Philippines. 🥺
If you’re using natural fibres I recommend wet blocking, but if you’re using acrylic yarn I recommend steam blocking. You can find tutorials for these on RUclips!
Thank you and welcome! So happy to have you here❤️ to make the sleeves longer you can follow the steps for the short sleeve and just continue making more rows until it’s long enough
if your hips are big, i would add a few more staggered rows on the edges of the panels where your hips start so it doesn't stretch too much and doesn't ride up too much when you walk.
i've done a few rows and mine isn't as stretchy as yours. is my tension too tight?? i tried switching to a bigger hook and i'm still having the same issue
Your tension might be too tight, try holding your yarn looser and not pulling at it too tightly. You can refer to the timestamp "slip stitch tips" I hope this helps ❤️
If I were to make this for someone else but I do not have their measurements, what advice do you have for making sure it fits them? If they're for example a size meduim?
I would try to find measurement for a women’s size medium top online. Even better, I would use a similar style top in their size as reference so I can compare my work to it. I hope this helps!🫶
I wanted to know if it's normal that my fabric is very tight. I'm using 6/8 cotton thread and a size 4.5 needle but it's very tight. What do you think?
I have tried with a larger needle but it is worse because the fabric becomes tighter and it is impossible to knit. I have also tried to knit slower so as not to put so much tension but it is the same, I don't know what to do, But thanks for your help❤.@@stef4788
You can use milk cotton but depending on the brand, it is actually made up of acrylic and polyester fiber so it won’t be suitable for warm weather. I’d suggest to do some research on the brand of milk cotton you’re using
I’m so excited to do this, I hate switching between different stitches! It gets confusing so this is perfect for a beginner like me!!

i LOVEE this so much!!! I'd love to do this top but backless, can you just give me a hint on how to do that? 😭 i love i love the front

is it possible if the sleeves are vertical stitches? how to do that? i look fatter when clothes are horizontal.
You can try making the sleeves as a separate panel and then sew it on to the arm hole
The top is mostly vertical. Sleeves are very small. U won't look fat .. be confident and this top will look great on u ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this ❤
You're welcome! I hope you enjoy making it 😊

What is the ideal fiber type for this? I’ve been working with acrylic and after 4 rows the stitches get impossibly tight.

Is it possible if I will crochet the top without the neck part just straight?🌷
Yes! You can just skip the extra chains I make for the mock neck part

Yes you can do that, or follow the steps for the short sleeve and just continue making rows until it’s long enough!
How many yards of yarn do you think you used making this? Trying to get an idea of how many skeins I should pick up!
Around 570 yards
I can use a yarn and a hook of 3mm?
could you show a swatch with the number of stitches and rows and say the length and width of it please? with the yarn and crochet you're using
FINALLYYYY
Thank you for waiting !!
if i wanted to turn it into a turtleneck, could i just make the chain at the start of the neck longer? or would that look goofy 😭
That's what I'm doing and it seems like its looking good! It also depends if you want it to roll or just be longer but it works!
Yep just make the chain longer, should be fine!
Do you have to block this top?
Nope! If you use cotton yarn you won’t have to block it. But if you use acrylic you might have to because it doesn’t have the same drape

Is it possible to use half double instead of slip-stitches? Or would it just require more yarn? Love this tutorial 🫶🏻

Thank you so much!💜 the shop is called Jarinporn_shop. Unfortunately I think they only ship within Thailand :(
Is it also possible to use yarn over slip stitches or will that make the project turn out completely different?
I’ve never used yarn over slip stitch so I’m not sure
Can i use hdc?, love ur works🫶🏻
Yes you can, but it may be hard to put the top on because hdc is not as stretchy as sl st blo
Hiiiii, do you think this top will look good if I make it with a bulky weight 5 yarn?
Depends on the use, for daily wear as a fellow crotcheter I’ll say don’t and use light yarn so it’s breathable for daily wear
I made the first panel and the neck part came out too small😭 and the length of the top too😭😭😭 but I don't want to start over sgain
You can try blocking it after!
Okayyy but how do I do that🥲
