smallmouths fight even better then largemouth bass tbh depends on the strain of the largemouth bass also.. u got the florida strain and the northern strain.. northern strain are more finicky then florida strain thruout the year... florida strains will shut down on cold fronts majority of the time cuz they use to warmer water and are more aggressive n get bigger then the northern strain

those guys are small seems like the pond is over populated... they were really fat either... prolly due to the over population and competing to eat... would be fun to catch on ultra light spinning gear tho... i must visit this place when i visit singapore
