We booked a Yacht trip to the southern islands to experience what swimming and chilling is like and ended up fishing for Coral Fishes instead! Hey man. I was browsing to get answers too as I stay near punggol river too. Have you found out the answer yet? My best guess is if the river is accessible to the main waterbody such as the sea, I think should be ok.
