So I bought Le Vernis 711 Pure White as soon as it hit the Chanel website. I couldn't help it. I've been wearing it for the last two weeks. It needs three coats to avoid streakiness, but I'm so surprised at the longevity of this color. Rouge Noir chips within days, but the Pure White is going strong at day 6 and 7. I've had people comment on the white manicure already. I'm so glad I picked that up. I have my "eye" on the Stylo Yeux 949 Blanc Graphique next.

I got this palette today and it is beautiful. Definitely wintry colors. I don't have so much space as you do between the eye and the brow so I had to be careful with the application of the colors but I do love them and I am sure that in winter that I won't have any tan the eyes are going to really stand out with these colors. Do make more videos on this palette please xx

I have been on the fence about the quad so it’s good to get your input. I love the look you did. Would like a review of the new cc cream. I picked it up about a month ago and love it when I need more coverage than the water tint. I must get the white nail polish for my younger daughter. She loves nail polish and I have bought her a selection from Chanel and will add this.

I bought the new cc cream last week. It is very nice, but it has the coverage of a foundation. I thought it would be more sheer. I really like it anyway. Not really feeling inspired by the Fall collection but I cannot wait for holiday!

Hello Allison, thanks for your review! I am a new Chanel-fan and have found your channel and multiple tutorials very useful! Looking forward to your upcoming creations with this palette, too! I can't wait for the UK release, in stores it was last Friday, but I was too shy to go in... on the website it is coming supposedly this Friday. In the whole Europe it is only sold online in France atm... It is so frustrating! Can't wait to pick up the dark gloss and this palette. I have yet to invest into Rouge Noir, as dark vampy looks are my style :) So this navy/purple look you did with the spot of red is exactly what I need! If I find there are similarities I will gladly to a side by side comparison 😁I hope you can get your items soon, I understand that going in store can be intimidating especially when you're not sure what you want to buy and you just want to play with the products for a while to figure things out.
Honestly when I first saw the pictures I wasn't so excited about this collection, and this palette reminds me a lot of my Illamasqua Demise pallette, but I love Chanel red eyeshadows, so I might be interested in this palette and the white gloss and nude lipstick (hopefully this is my perfect nude lip), I'm not sure about the top coats although I like them, but I'll wait and see...
Hi there! I'm not very familiar with Illamasqua, they had a boutique here in Montreal but it closed so I never really got the chance to test them out. I really like the white top coat but I know it's not for everyone 😊

The ladies at my local US Nordstrom, in Dior and Chanel, tell me that they aren’t getting new products on the floor until 2-3 weeks after they launch on the website. Not sure why, but that’s what I heard. Good video, 💚

Hi Alison, your video piqued my interest when I saw that you were featuring the non-B&W quad. I've had access to the collection but haven't purchased a thing because my head is not into Fall collections in July (even if timed to Chanel's Fall/Winter fashion collection. The two must have products, in my opinion, are the top coat eyeshadows. They are beautiful on their own and elevate both quads. I like their special edition packaging, which I believe is reserved for the LE items only. There's a fair amount from this collection that will remain in the regular line and those products have the traditional packaging. Your eye looks before and after applying the red shade were gorgeous explicitly and subtlety. Looking forward to seeing your creations using this collection. I'll be picking up the top coats, at least one quad, the red lipstick, and the dark plum gloss.

I just bought the Noir Supreme! I found it on Feelunique.com. God this is the third palette in a few days but I like the colors so much especially this red. I will tell you my impressions once I get it! Thank you for sharing. It is so good to know what is out first. You know here in Greece we just got the Blurry quads and the ladies at the Chanel counter ask me what is new haha. I think they should know and not me but since everything comes with months of delay here, I guess we will have them by Xmas this Fall collection xx

Exactly! I hope to love this palette. With the blurry ones I am still playing. I find them pretty dark for this time of year. I can imagine the Noir Supreme is going to be even darker but I will definitely use them more in winter. I will keep on trying though. I love their consistency.
I’m loving this quad. Totally my colors. I skipped the top coat & the eye liner turned an icky silver color on me, so hard pass. Playing with the liners & colored mascaras from the Blurry collection instead. Lucia gets ALL my spare cash these days. ❤️

Great look. I have mine on order for Friday. I am surprised The Bay jumped the gun and released them already because launch day is Friday Aug 2. I thought for sure you would get the black gloss, well not really black more aubergine. I ordered both shadow quads , both toppers , lipsticks in both and lip gloss in black only. I passed on the body gel and the polishes as well as powder lipsticks. Tell me what you think of the mascara because I have seen a few reviews and they were not stellar. I still really like Les volumes . I am using CT full fat lashes recommended by my nordstrom rep, but will not repurchase . It does nothing for me. Goes to show you mascaras make a difference to us all. Looking forward to other looks but hold off a bit till it is closer to fall. I may forget the looks by September . Why they launch these so early is beyond me. We need to enjoy the heat while we can in Canada 🇨🇦. Fall will be here soon enough. When I get my collection I hide it in a drawer till mid September then it comes out to play. Love watching you.😘
Hi Hilda! I think they are releasing makeup lines earlier to try to match up with the fashion releases which are always several months in advance. But that being said it is way too early for me. I found the dark aubergine gloss to be so dark and I knew that I wouldn't really get that much use out it spare for a video or two.
Allison Chase I know what you mean re getting use out of it . That being said you totally could rock that vampy look for sure. It is costly to purchase all the products to demonstrate for everyone. I appreciate when you do the videos. Keep it up. Oh I also think you could rock the dark berry lipstick they have brought out as well. Just saying..,
Unrelated: Which eyeshadow palette do you think is more versatile: Clair Obscur or Candeur et Expérience? I love the warmth of CE, but I'm not sure I'd get much use out of the reddish shade. I'm looking to invest in my first Chanel palette and want to make sure I'll use it all. Thx!
Hi Brianne! CE is hands down my favourite palette from Chanel, I think it's a perfect introductory shade as well. In my opinion I would go with CE 😊

I personally am a huge fan of the Water Fresh Tint, it's a very light weight and fresh feeling "foundation". I'm also a really big fan of the Rouge Coco Flash lipstick, they offer nice shades and are very hydrating.

Tracy Shaw oooh I’d start with their powders (like a compact universelle translucent or any les beiges powder or a loose powder- those are some of the most natural looking powders out there if you don’t like a heavy makeup look & prefer a natural look & a beautiful sort of airbrushed finish). Among lipsticks - Rouge Allure lipsticks should not disappoint anyone 😉 nudes or reds- that formula is really good. But for me Chanel started with their eyeshadows. Those are simply the best, you cannot go wrong with them. The recent quads (blurry they were called) are great quality to begin with. 🌸

You look beautiful.....but, sadly this entire collection is a bust for me. I'm so bummed as I always look forward to the fall edition. Oh well, I used my "fall" money and bought a palette I passed on from a former collection, Chanel No. 5 Body oil, some vintage Chanel fragrances and a lipstick from an older collection. Hoping Christmas might bring a pretty new goody!
That still seems like a pretty goo shopping trip 😊 I hope this year's Holiday collection is outstanding because I really liked last year's so I hope they keep the momentum going.
