I was circumcised shortly after birth, was one of the ones who received complications from it.
A really really nasty infection, and disfigurement.
This wasn't a religious choice by my parents, it was the hospital shoving it down their throat (which you also didn't mention used to be a problem)
Thanks to this my brother didn't have to go through the same ordeal.
I personally am strongly against it, and it baffles me why you also aren't.
I'm going to chalk it up to you not wanting demonetized, which if that's the case that's another giant F you to RUclips/Google.
I'm not 100% happy with this video due to not mentioning/researching hospitals pushing it and your supposed stance on the matter, however I'm still glad you made it.
You're still trying to educate people and that's important, and I admire and respect that.

Even if someone "consents" to it, it's still bad because it's still physically harmful. Nobody should be promoting, enabling, or assisting with self harm.

I think the simple fact is that most men who are circumcised don’t even have any say in whether they get the procedure or not. I really would have liked to have had the choice.
I'm glad my dad did not have the money to have it done. I did not get my 5 sons cut either. they can have it done but none chose to have it done when they turned 18.

Circumcision in infants is genital mutilation and should be illegal. If there is a medical issue or you choose to do it when you are OLDER by all means but not on infants.

I think it should be mandatory that every school in the world has at least a hour of infographic videos. Ive learned more from the year ive been subscribed to this channel then the 13+ years in school
I've seen 3 babies die at a rural hospital. They never blame circumcision for legal purposes. They blame the babies. It is evil to cut infants.

I just got circumcised a little over a month ago at 23 years old due to phimosis and videos like this would’ve helped me not be so embarrassed about this for so long. Thank you to the entire crew over at The infoGraphics show for doing videos on topics that can help young people learn about their bodies.
How much did it cost?
@@dubghost1829 I ended up paying about $2700 out of pocket but from what I gathered during online research that was definitely above average. I think the regular number is closer to $1500.

Where I spent my childhood my friends and I could roughly judge whether someone of our generation was born in the local hospital (circumcised in infancy) or was born in one of the outlying communities (intact) just by making observations in the shower of the public swimming pool.

Should say or "intact" instead of uncircumsized. Circumcision on 99% of boys is child abuse and should be criminalized. No religious or hygiene excuse should authorize that.
